A little HELP pls

i've just downloaded the patch that was released the other day at this forum for 2k12.. and ever since i can't connect to the internet from the game... i cant synchronize or even download directly from the game... what happened? i've downloaded the US patch because im in the philippines... there's no asia there but japan... i bought the original dvd so how can i know what patch to download? someone help please... thanks..
