I'm here guys...

Basically I ran into a problem with the dornas, but can also not be a problem, I'll explain...

You can only edit certain dorna files (something like 000-006) so for instance if I copy and paste dorna 001 n rename it to a dorna that doesnt exist so I can assign it to say the 88 Knicks, well when I import the knicks dorna into the file it is also changing the original dorna 001 file as well even though they have different names, confusing!

For me personally I'd just have all my original dornas in a folder and all my 80s dornas n just minimize my screen and put them into the folder, etc...but I dunno if anyone would wanna bother doin that?. Anyway does anybody have a solution to that problem Im having when renaming dornas??? cos they look awesome when used to the mod n itd be a shame to lose out.

Also Im still editing stadiums too, MSG for instance looks great...but yeah I need help with the dorna issue, anyone know a solution?

Hmm i just started editing dornas for the first time. we may have to use mod enabler and call it a day. I thought about u though and made a dorna i thought u would love if u havent made it already U WANNA C? I need your retro textures man i cant make half the stuff i want to make without u ut im glad your ok

This would work if we cant find another way. viewtopic.php?f=143&t=84240 also when u import your textures your importing as png or dds because dds importing of dornas causes the game to take forever to load

Something is wrong with that nets logo mike like there is a extra texture under it that is generic looking like a coiled snake

Like I said in the pm suirad that will get around the problem so I will get workin again now I know there is a purpose again!

Also I've been tweeking courts and players appearances to match the time more accurately

Great work Hawk I love the era and love playing the mod but have had to make lots of changes myself to get a more accurate game

I know when Mike aka M4ka first did the mod he deliberately didn't do the Sampson - Floyd trade but, as Bird and I pointed out to him at the time, that made the mod inaccurate but he was keen on still playing with Olajuwon and Sampson together, even though Ralph was just about hobbled by then

I'm sure people will love the updates and still appreciate all of the great work Mike did on it

I'm doing arena/dorna/court editing though so it will be a couple of weeks but I will release them all at the same time

OK GUYS BIRD AND I ARE COMBINING OUR TALENTS TO BRING SOME FABOULOUS ART UPDATES TO 1988. As usual im bringing the heat on the courts and bird is touching up the textures for the courts and stadium improvements as u guys have been noticing. Bird is a man of many talents WITHOUT HIM NONE OF THESE IMPROVEMENTS WOULD BE POSSIBLE So the major credit on this collabaration goes to him as im just doing what i do and im thankful thankful that he has decided to join us in this great work. Now you may ask yourself WHICH COURTS DONT WE HAVE for 1988?? Well if u r a true NBA head U KNOW WHICH COURTS R MISSING.
