Re: [Tool] Roster Editor - REDitor II (Current v. 3.0)

Fri Feb 03, 2012 6:59 pm

Vlad i have a question about editing

in your tutorial uve said that assinging portID to 3030 gives me autogenerated portrait in the game. But instead i have generated portraits in roster menu and in game substitution menu i have black-space portrait. So maybe im doing something wrong or it sould be as it is?

The game doesn't actually auto-generate portraits for the substitution overlays. And I think that that part of the tutorial doesn't need to be 3030, just any unused number, or -1 for that matter.

Could be wrong.

it just needs to be a 3000 number, not limited to 3030

Hi Vl@d,
as mentioned before Reditor creates virus alerts. You said it is 100% clean, but actually it is not so cool if you have to deactivate your virus scanner before you can work with Reditor. Can you do something about it? At virustotal.com 14 of 43 pogramsfind a virus in there. I think quite a few people will refuse to buy Reditor cos of that. So plz do something about it. It is a major bug and a selling issue. I bought guru edition and it just sucks turning off my virus scanner for several hours cos I want to edit a roster.
I am seriously hoping for a small update fixing this problem.
THx in advance

madrob, create an exception or exclusion within your anitvirus program. You may have to add exceptions for realtime scanning and for system scans. This is NOT a bug. Vl@d has no control over your antivirus program of if you even use one. There are dozens of AV programs available with many versions in use. Learn how to use your antivirus program. Go to the programs forums or Google it or at least ask how do do this for your specific antivirus program.

first of all it is not about configuring a virus program. Plz read the whole post before you reply to a single part. How many ppl wont buy a program if there irus scanner shows an alert? Lets say 50-60% of all potential users use a AVP. Usually gamers are more aware of potential risks. 14/43 AVPs from vrustotal.com show an alert. THat means up to 20% or more will get that alert when they want to use Reditor. I would further say more than half of those ppl wont buy the program when they got this altert
How many bugs do you know in Reditor that can instantly create a sales boost of 10% just because you solved them? I dont know any other bug or feature being able to do this. This bug can become a credibility problem. Ppl who dont read through all the posts in here will be sure it is a virus. they wont tell other ppl to use this program.
I used to be a Java developer, now I work in IT sales. If my product would cause virus alerts I wouldnt think a minute about working on another issue.

Will there be a way to view a player's overall rating? Makes doing global edits on draft classes tough without that info. Also, is there any way to sort players by team?

sort with the TeamID column

OVR is calced in game, and is really useless, but I usually just import the ratings into open office or excel and get an average as a basic OVR.

How do you add players to a team? I wanted to add Ish Smith to the Magic. I changed his teamid and 2 to 15, isfa to 0, and the team pinum up 1 to include him but the game freezes every time.

Can you post a quick video of the difference for us 360 users. I am interested in hearing how it sounds.
