Last time I'm restarting my Association to have your latest awesome roster Alby! This is a warning! Do not give me another reason to start all over!



Congrats man, the feature list is awesome. I don't mind letting my 2-5 record go to waste. That's just 3 days of NBA 2K12 lost anyway.

It's not always about the overall. If you read some threads regarding 2K's overall calculation, you'll see it's not that important, as it's not really calculated properly for each position.

Even a 74 could mean a really strong player, if the right skills and ratings are set properly. Getting his overall up to 80 may require raising irrelevant ratings in order not to overpower him in what he's good, and that's no solution.

So first, play a few games with him, and if you feel he's underpowered at something, complain about that specific part of his ratings, not his overall rating.

As you do in every custom roster ever made. Go to Foot Locker and assign the shoes you want to him.

this will be the first time i ever had to do this with any roster, but thanks for the info, i only hope these assigned shoes will be the hd ones i want (miller hd kobes) when assigned, or i'll just have to go back to roster 1.2

If you didn't replace any HD mods you have previously installed, they should still be in Foot Locker.

Generic white shoes appear when the roster has a shoe assigned to that player that it can't find. Did you download the additional files package that came with the 1.3 roster and install all the additional shoes? Or it could be the game is re-syncing Online Data and doesn't have access to the new shoes 2K has inserted in the game until that re-sync is done.

In any case, manually assigning shoes via Foot Locker should work just fine, and as I said, if you didn't replace any of your HD shoe models with older ones, the roster by itself as a file can't do that, so your HD shoes should still be in Foot Locker.

kobe's not wearing generic shoes in the roster....it's under Generic but if look, it's Nike...i just took a peek and is not sure what Nike model. the swoosh is there...

I have Kobe wearing the Kobe VI spot (his nshoe home/away spot) with the MLLR Kobe VIIs.

Ater Majok portrait didn't show up in this roster. Can you please fix it?

I'm having problems with this roster when creating a My Player. Whenever I try and type in a name under the First and Last name areas, the names start glitching like what happens when you hex edit on the consoles. Is there any way to fix this? It worked fine on 1.2. Otherwise, great roster as always.

Albys do you know the trick where you bump up the dunk attribute to 85 then change the dunk package to a new one?

You can also bump it down to the original rating and still keep the dunk package.

but i would like to play a realistic Association without any random team signing B.Roy or Yao from the free agent pool.
So i wanted to ask if you could do a Roster that only includes active Players (i don't mind the guys that are in china for the moment or Valanciunas). I would really appreciate it.

or maybe someone can explain to me how to erase players from free agents, so that i could do it myself. I have no idea how this stuff works.

Are you going to release a roster with reditor updates? I mean will you update team colours, body types etc?

Hi Redskin, you can try to edit down the FA player's ratings to a bare minimum, so they drop to the bottom of the FA pool, and I don't think they'll be signed in Assoc. Cheers

Radishi had a hint about the players staying abroad. In order not to lose their ratings completely.

INTERNATIONAL PLAYER POLICY
Due to the lockout many players decided to play abroad this season. Some players have out-clauses in their contracts to return at any time, others do not. Four quality players signed in China and do not have out-clauses but are free to rejoin the NBA after the Chinese season ends in late February/early March. Rather than reduce all of these players to 25 rating I have decided it best to reduce only their Stamina & Durability ratings to 25 in the interim. That should lower their overall ratings enough to prevent them from playing prominent roles if signed, and keep their court time to an absolute bare minimum. When the players re-join the NBA, a player can manually alter their Stamina/Durability ratings during an Association mode (and can likewise adjust all International players when they get to the Off-season of their respective Associations). I will also apply this policy to free agent Jeff Green, who is out for the season after his heart surgery.
