[Tool] Roster Editor - REDitor II (Current v. 5.0)

Sorry to bump a really really old and long dead thread! But has anyone been able to get this last version to open or edit xbox360 files?

I downloaded the last RED MC version and I can't open roster file

This topic is for REDitor II, not RED MC. As noted in the RED MC topic however, it looks like you're trying to open a file that it doesn't support.

I get an error trying to open association files. even though ti say sall functionality free. it gives a you dont have license error

Hi, I've been trying to save files with REDitor but everytime I make changes and save, nothing is changed after opening up the game. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thx.

If you're editing a saved roster, you'll need to re-load it in-game before you see any changes.

Hi There, Sorry to bother everyone however I need a resident reditor II expert. I recently updated my computer (Windows 10 to Windows 11) and am reinstalling programs. One problem, REDitor II 4.8 or 5.0 do not function. They do not even launch. No error (aside from the Invalid File Handle 32) during install. I installed as administrator. The program folder and .exe is included in my antivirus exception list. I blocked the program via firewall. I run the program as administrator. Still nothing. No launch whatsoever. Note the program launched and ran without issue on my old Windows 10 computer.

If you have any advice that would be much appreciated..

It appears to be an issue with some Windows 11 updates from last last year. Removing them apparently gets RED MC and REDitor II working again: viewtopic.php?p=2094740#p2094740

i turn off my antivirus, but program just dont lunch, like a didnt click

I'm also having the same problem. Tried uninstalling updates, tried isolating the file from the firewall but nothing worked. The app is on the computer but when you click on it, it simply just doesn't start, it just acts as if you didn't click it at all

Just curious if anyone has located a solution to this problem. I attempted to uninstall some optional windows 11 updates and REDitorII worked for a brief period. However, upon more windows 11 updates it has now stopped functioning again and the optional updates I uninstall do not result in the applications working again. So frustrating!

hey just tried to load up my redeitor and it says new version has been updated does anyone have 5.1?

I'm not aware of any new releases, but I just got that message as well when I checked. I'm not sure what's going on at the moment, so we'll have to see.

How do I fix it it keeps saying

Just heard back from Vlad, the issue has been fixed and I can confirm that REDitor II is working again.

Does anyone know how to fix this error on NBA 2K11 for 360? Everytime I make an edit with a roster in REDitor and then load it back up in my 360, I get the error message "unable to load roster on usb storage the saved content is damaged or unreadable". Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing a step with editing 360 roster files? Can someone please help me out? Thank you.
