This Roster File will showcase 20 of the best college teams from the 1990-91 Season...This roster file will work great with the College Hoops 2K12 TE mod that has already been released (special thanks to BehindShadows and the team behind that great mod)...You must download and apply that mod first...This will be strictly a roster file, featuring at least the top 8 players from each team, with accurate ratings, appearances, and tendencies,etc. Once you download this roster file, place it into your AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K12\Saves folder with the rest of your rosters and saves...Then start the College Hoops 2K12 TE mod and load the NCAA 1990-91 Roster File...Since this roster file is based off of the College Hoops 2K12 TE Mod, I was limited to using the teams that are available in the mod...I chose the top 20 teams available from the 1990-91 Season to include in the roster set...The 20 Selectable 1990-91 Teams are listed below...I have also included the 91-92 Michigan Wolverines as a bonus! Updated File includes Cyber Face support, arenas for all teams, and improved team selection menu...See my website for more info!

Rosters are pretty much complete...It's pretty hard to find information about obscure college players who played 20 years ago, before the Internet age, but I have put a lot of effort into rating the players, their tendencies, and so forth...There is still some fine tuning to do in regards to appearances and ratings, but this roster file is very playable as is, and it is a blast to play right now...I am considering going ahead and releasing the roster 1.0 file now so that people can play it and enjoy it in light of final four weekend, and then fine tune it and upload a newer version later...I believe it as a very fun, realistic, and playable roster set that I want to share with the community...

Decided to tweak the file some more, but will be releasing it very soon...Fine-tuning appearances, gear, and ratings a little bit more...Decided to add one more team into the mix as well...Even though it's a 1990-91 Season mod, I decided to add 1991-92 Michigan in there as well in honor of the Fab 5...

Version 1.0 of my NCAA Basketball 90-91 Season Roster has been released!...See the updated post at the top of the page for more specifics, including how to download it, where to put the file, and how to load it up...You must have the College Hoops 2K12 TE mod first! Please let me know if you have any questions or issues with the file or the website...I initially planned on just doing a few teams for myself and my friends to play with, inspired by the ACC tournament, so I downloaded the REDitor and started messing around...I did some nice retro draft classes for NBA 2K11 for the 360 a couple of years ago, but this was my first project of this type...A few teams turned into 21 teams, and I ended up editing things that I previously hadn't planned on doing, so I have spent a lot of time on this project and I wanted to share it with the community...I plan on updating this version with cyber faces in the near future, as well as starting on a 91-92 Season roster file...Thanks to BehindShadows, Hawk23, and RayHoops1 for their awesome mod's that inspired me to begin with...Hope you enjoy playing the game, especially if you grew up watching basketball during this era like I did...

Updated Roster (Version 1.0 Update) is now available...See the link at the top of the page...The updated roster utilizes cyber faces for around 60 of the players, including most of the future NBA players...Special thanks to Hawk23 for suggesting and allowing me to incorporate cyber faces into this project...You must also download the cyber face files and place them into your College Hoops 2K12 TE mod main folder...I had to divide it up into two different 7-Zip files to upload it on my website, so you must download, decompress, and copy both sets of cyber faces into the mod folder...Then load up the new roster file (Version 1.0 Update) and you should see the new cyber faces...Let me know if there are any problems with the downloads or cyber faces...They all work on my PC...I would also recommend using the CBS Sports Scoreboard mod that is on the forums here, as it goes really well with early 90's theme of this roster set...

I want to thank you for creating this roster set/mod for a memorable College Hoops season. I wondered if you could help me however, my game freezes when I get to the Team Select stage of the process.

My install of College Hoops 2K12 works perfectly fine and I made sure to install your cyber-faces and the proper roster. I tried both rosters and the game freezes at the same places.

I am anxious to play this and I wondered if you could lend a hand to what I might be doing wrong.

I wanted to add that I did more checking with this problem and it only occurs when I select the Michigan Wolverines as a team. I get the correct cyberfaces but uniforms look transparent at the Team Select screen. If I pick any other teams (like UNC vs. Duke), everything works just fine.

Thanks for being so specific with your question...You are right, there is something wrong with the default Michigan jersey that is in the College Hoops 2K12 TE mod...I asked the same question in that forum, but didn't get a reply...There are some bugs and glitches in that mod that I can't fix or control...If you want Michigan to be the home team, cycle to a different home team first, then go over and select the away team...Then go back over and cycle back to Michigan for the home team...Then you need to manually change the jersey to their home or away jerseys...Just hit RB or LB on the XBox 360 controller to switch jerseys...Their home, away, and yellow alternates should all work fine...I also have found it helps to cycle through some other teams, then go back to Michigan, change their jersey color, and select them...I have a routine where I move the controller over to the away team, then the home team, cycle through some home teams to get them off Michigan, go over and select the Away team, and then go back to the home team, get it on Michigan, switch Michigans jerseys, and then start the game...Like I said, it can be glitchy...Sometimes, I have to use the mouse to select the away team to keep it from crashing to the desktop...It's not anything in my roster file, it was in the mod already...But you can work around it...Hope this helps man!

This is awesome...your trick worked perfectly and I'm glad I'm not the only one with those Michigan problems. I was able to start a home and away Michigan game with no issues. Could you tell me if there is a Michigan floor to play on (it defaults to the Dallas Mavericks floor)? I've played the College Hoops 2K12 mod quite a bit but I usually use UNC and never noticed if there was a specific Michigan Floor. If not, do you know if there is a "generic" floor to use instead of American Airlines arena? This is such a great mod/roster; thanks again for making this!

Thanks man, glad you to hear you are enjoying it! Unfortunately, the Michigan court was apparently not finished in the College Hoops 2K12 TE mod, so the Wolverines don't really have their home court...There are a few other teams in the mod that are also missing their home courts...I'm not aware of any generic floors either, so what I usually do is have Michigan play home games in The Palace at Auburn Hills, home of the Detroit Pistons...That way, it's still in Michigan...You could also have them play on a "neutral court" like the Carrier Dome or something and imagine it's like an NCAA tournament game or something...At some point in the future, I would like to try my hand at making courts, after I get finished with the roster files I'm working on...

Awesome news...I have figured out how to fix the missing courts from the NBA 2K12 TE mod! Now, you can play home games with teams like Michigan, Florida St, Virginia, Missouri, and NC State on their home court...And I was able to fix it without having to download any more court files, all you need to do is go to my website (see link at the top of this forum page) and download the NCAA 1990-91 Roster V2 (Version 2.0)...I have also fixed the team name abbreviations so that they will display better in the CBS Sports scoreboard mod...If you haven't downloaded that yet, you should definitely try it! See the NBA 2K12 forums for that download...Let me know if there are problems with the file...

Man, you are awesome. I was trying to mod the Dallas Mavericks floor with Michigan graphics but I couldn't change the primary Team Colors. This is great news. Thank you again.

I realize that I just updated the file a few days ago, but I had another update that I wanted to put up...Sorry if you just downloaded 2.0! I fixed the team selection menu and got rid of the teams that weren't from the 90-91 Season, so it will be a lot quicker and easier to select the retro teams...

A few general things I wanted to mention, just in case someone was having trouble with the file:

*You must change the default home jerseys for Michigan, Florida State, and Alabama before you select them (Hit RB on the 360 controller)...

*If you are having problems selecting teams, see my post earlier on this forum for a trick to be able to select the above teams without the game crashing to the desktop

I am currently working on the 91-92 Season Roster file, which will feature even more teams than last time...I am just about halfway finished at this point...I am shooting for 25-30 teams total...Look for pics and more updates in the coming days...
