Retarded falling into crowd animation

Many times, 2k12 feels like I'm not controlling the guy. Maybe it's something with my controller but over two games, I had my stupid player fall into the crowd 3 or 4 consecutive times and I couldn't extract myself without a time out. Yeah, it's kinda cool the first time when you trip over a spectator or a ref, but after the 4th or 5th time, it just looks retarded.
And then there's the steal animation. I press the steal button and woosh, I reach 50 feet and end up on the other end of the court. Dude, what player in the NBA turbo runs into a steal and ends up 50 feet away? I understand trying to penalize cheesers from pressing the steal button every 5 seconds but this is ridiculous.

Supposedly the latter issue has been tuned in the patch that came out last week. Of course, PC players are likely going to be waiting a while for that.
