Good question. To be honest I think I could enjoy the mode either way, it'd be awesome to have the option to do both; start over with a rookie version of a current player in their prime or at the end of their career, or play on from the current point in their career.

exactly! but if you do start a current player over as a rookie... does that current player cease to exist in his current form? say i want to be rookie Kobe... does current Kobe dissapear?

That hasn't been revealed as yet, which is why I said good question. ;) I'm guessing they wouldn't have duplicate players no matter which way they go.

so if rookie Kobe meets current Kobe in an NBA game and the one fouls the other....

the universe ceases to exist, or they are both erased. Doc"GREAT SCOTT!" Brown logic.

the same matter cannot occupy the same space at the same time. turning the 2 of them into a pile of goo. Time Cop logic.

either way.... bad things man. very bad things.

hmmm. i think thats how the Mayans said the world would end.

now, to play MJ vs MJ in 2k11

muhaha

fuck. its been a long day lol

I don't think that it'll be the case, because for EVERY current player in the game, they'd have to make a rookie version.

no information has been given saying that they are going to replicate the MJ creating a legend with the changing CFs and bodytypes
Opinions are my own.

Which probably means we're just going to continue on from the present for current players and drop any legends as-is into the current NBA.

But still, there's no way I'm taking this game mode for granted.

Lol would be possibly the most unnecessary addition to a video game of any description ever. I do like bowling though.

Console players with any kind of move control could like it. I would not. :-P

This. The amount of resources that would be used for that would be much better off used for a couple more layup packages, or one more street court, or a few more lines of play-by-play, etc. :D

I'll make T-Mac greater than the so-called "The King".

Raise him to 6'9, that should be enough :P

Well I suppose the first thing ur gonna do with him is gonna spend all the skill Points on Durability.
I might do Greg Oden.. lol
Or Brandon Roy....or even Lamarcus Aldridge wow. This is a fun thought. Any NBA player? Thats just a great concept. Gives us more of a immersion in simulating desirable outcomes with our favorite players which is why most of us play sports game.

Actually you know, If everything in Create a Legend mode is same as My Player mode I might just skip the My Player Mode completely. Id much rather play with a real NBA player and make him as dominant as I wish he could be rather than creating a random dude who barely even looks like me or plays anything like me in real life.

You're probably not alone there, which certainly makes this a worthwhile addition.
