Bring back the walking the ball upcourt animation, the omission of it was ridiculous in the first place. This is the wish that is most likely to come true (already has in the demos, as far as the walking the ball animation goes).

What do you mean by this?

I wasn't sure before, but now I've seen it myself. In NBA 2k12's demo, you can see that the animation where you walk while you dribble the ball, like in real life and all previous nba 2k games, is restored. You can walk again while bringing the ball upcourt, unlike in nba 2k11.

when in press conference, have more answer options, like when you choose arrogant, there are 4 choices to choose, so in total 16 different answers.
better player celebrations, especially for buzzer beaters.
signature haircuts :D you can choose from A.I's different cornrows or Rodmans different haircolours
more shoes, 2k11 had 2 (i think) reebok shoes, while in 2k10 there was like 10 or something.
better menu for PC, god dang if its the same as in 2k11

That they tell us their rating/tendency formulas so we don't have to depend on their for-profit bias.

I'm preforming regressions on 2K's offensive rebound ratings and I'm finding that there is a method to their madness, but that it doesn't apply to stars or other popular players. Their customers still want to dunk with Vince Carter, Jason Richardson and Kobe Bryant, in other words.

Offensive rebound percentage (ORB%) from the 08-09 season on the left, and launch date ORB ratings from NBA 2k11 to the right.

Anyway, here's the formula for the ORB rating: y = -0.0209x^3 + 0.3488x^2 + 4.6919x + 20.538 , R squared value is = 0.9982 and the input variable is ORB% which you can find at basketball-reference, http://statsheet.com/mcb for college players and http://www.in-the-game.org/?page_id=9936#comments for euroleague players.

lol yeah no surprise there. You should have seen what most people wanted with the 2K Insider to edit for the official roster updates. Like "Player X shot 3/3 during the last game why isn't his three-point rating greater than 85?!" even though that player's career for 3-pointers is less than 0.200

Having done unofficial roster updates for years, those requests are all too familiar.

its probably too late but i was playing 2k9 lately and realized how many good things 2k went away from, like some nice player faces, double team animations, good crowd involvement, warmup shots at the beginning of games, and especially body types etc. hopefully 2k realizes this and improves from here on

On My Player mode, the team should call out plays...realistic plays that is. I created a powerful post player and was drafted by the Bucks, instead of throwing it to my player already firmly positioned downlow, John Salmons decides to do a contested fall away three..WITH 10 SECONDS ON THE SHOTCLOCK...come on now!?

Judging by the Playcalling and My Player Insights, that's been improved this year.

Its probably already mentioned but the higher difficulty levels be made difficult due to CPU player being smarter overall and not making unrealistic plays on the court. Also if they can make it less obvious when the game wants the outcome of the match to go one way. Especially on a late game comeback.

My wishlist for 2K13:

 Teams that are better than 1995-96 Bulls: 1971-72 76ers, 2009-10 Nets. Or what about 1998-99 Bulls?

 A TNT or FSN integration. I get bored from that scoreboard.

 More curve at the names on the back of jerseys.

 Bob Pettit era jerseys for Atlanta and Julius Erving era jerseys for NJ Nets.

 When playing a game at Online, we should be able to adjust the video settings and cameras.

 That's important... really important. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO IMPORT MY PLAYER OR ASSOCIATION DATAS FROM any 2K to 2K13.

Those are some weird suggestions. Why would they put the 98-99 Bulls in the game? The whole point is putting great teams and great players in the game.

Does anyone know if the PC version will get the same menu as the console this year? I really hated that 2k10 menu 2k11 had. The 2k11 menu on consoles was way better in my opinion. Would really like it if the menu AND presentation for 2k12 is the same on PC as it is on console. I buy both games every year and I always find myself enjoying the PC version much more because I don't go online all that much so I am all about the PC mods. The stuff the guys do on this forum is amazing. This is why I still prefer PC gaming in general; the modding community.

My wishlist:

Moar IMPROVED shoes
Create your moves (e.g. dunks, layup, crossover...)
Real court, stadium, dornas, backboards and logos. (Puhlease, the default Thunder Arena sucks.)
Design your own shoes (My Player)
Loud Crowds
More retro teams (of the 21st century)
ESPN like scoreboard
No Rookies and Sophomore Jerseys. (Like in real life, they'll use their team's jersey)
AND
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
ADD THE ROOKIES DAMN IT!

The rookies are added, just need to be activated by 2k. (or modders)

And the only reason they aren't included by default is the lockout, which prevents 2K from legally doing so.

The fake pass is as useful as LeBron in the 4th quarter.
