Game Freeze

The past few weeks ive been having an issue where my game freezes at the start up screen, on "Loading Roster.." I never had this issue before, so it seems random. Even more confusing is that it only happens about 50% of the time. Sometimes it will freeze 3 times, then on the 4th try, load like normal. And just tonight, the game has frozen at the pause menu, after making a weird sound. Whats causing this guys? Is it a computer issue?

if its random like that, it sounds more like a computer issue than a game issue. Although, who knows with the game trying to connect to servers (if it still connects, I dont even know).

You could try the age old turn off Internet and see if the game runs better thingy, or firewall the exe so it doesn't connect online, but other than that I have no idea.

I will try that. Does being connected to the internet really lead to freezing? I knew never that, I guess because ive never had a freezing problem in years of playing 2k on PC. Ive had crashing, but that was association related.

it can, especially when the servers were up and if you had an intermittent connection, but no idea if that is what is going on for you
