Adding players to classic teams?

Is it just me or can we not add/delete players from the classic teams like we could in 2K11? (PS3)

we can't, buying the $10 DLC lets you take the Legends off those teams (not the new legends in the DLC, the ones on the teams) but I don't know about vice-versa
