Wow, that is a disgrace.

BTW, i noticed something unbelievable. While playin NBA's greatest, Jerry West game, as i like to
put specific defensive settings for EACH player, i did that, played like 3 games, and noticed that instead of playing Maravich or Hudson tightly or close at all - we give up an open shot each time down the court. I looked into defensive settings and get a load of this - PC CHANGED my values of playing tightly or deny the ball to SAG OFF. SAG OFF! WTF, and it wasn't only specific with that game. I tested it, it happens every time to me. Even if i DON'T touch defensive settings! WTF! Yesterday's Lakers vs Blazers game i played was the first one where values din't change! What was that glitch about? It lasted for like a week!

I've had that happen to me before. To be fair I've also managed to outrun the defense on fastbreaks but there are some frustrating issues with catchups in the game.

Yea I've kept up to LeBron on a break once with Kenyon Martin, so i think it sucks both ways. Very disheartening to see, especially for a game that seemed to focus on fast break...

As for the defensive settings, I think I noticed this in one of my very first games ever, and as a result I've stopped adjusting them pregame. I have a hunch that the settings get changed when you adjust the on-the-fly defensive coaching profile, but never actually confirmed this. Say what you want about the game but so far, this is the most disappointing NBA 2k ever. From play 2k11 daily up until 2 weeks before 2k12, to not playing 2k12 for the last 3 weeks. To be fair, that's partially due to the rookies roster, so maybe thats not fair.

Yes, the defensive settings change based on some of the quick calls. For example, if you call focus on stars, it changes the defensive settings.
