When I open a file all I see is the roster names none of the other info like I see in the pics on the first page, I purchased the program and received my registration key. When I enter it, its says it worked but when I reopen the program nothing has changed and sometimes it make me put my registration code in again. What am I doing wrong?

I have paid the 22$ for developer interface and the Guru version and I put my email and payment ID and all other information and then confirm

But when I click send a message appears saying "can't create file REDitor II.txt Access is Denied"

Try opening REditor as an administrator, this allows access to your Program Files folder. Windows and their paranoia

Email Vl@d for another key, perhaps the Product ID changed if you did a fresh install of REDitor. Check whatever information you sent him and make sure it is the same, if it is (and you're running Vista or 7) open REDitor as an administrator so it can save the registration file to the computer. Reply back when you're done to see if it worked or not, if anything we can troubleshoot it and find out what's wrong.

I have one problem that I really need help with. When I try to change GIDs to allow alternate jerseys, in this case the black timberwolves jerseys, it changes that to the default. It stills says alternate but if I were to just go and play as away Timberwolves without checking the jerseys, it would load the black instead of the blue jerseys. I don't know if there is any way for me to change this or if I have to change the jersey itself?

I really hope you can help me, pretty important for my roster

Basically you need to change the name of the jersey file. The name is a hexadecimal string and you have to change it to alternate, if it is labeled as "current" then well, it's going to be the CURRENT jersey and be the default one. Find the string for the name "alternate" and enjoy

But I can't find the gear color in Jersey tab

Only team color 1,2,3,4

On the jersey you want to change, change the column labeled "UseCusClrs" to 1. This allows it to use custom color set thus you won't be bound by the Team color 1-6. Hope that helps!

Yes you can copy and paste rows (or columns) since you can open two .ROS files at the same time. Hope it helps.

You need to purchase, at the very least, the "player" version of REDitor to allow your REDitor to read and open .FXG files which are Association files. Go and purchase it, you won't regret it

Is there a way to change my player's portrait? I thought changing the portID of my player would do it but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

If you copy and paste players into a .FDC file, their names and colleges get randomized, and their ages become something in the range of ~185-195. The age problem is due to the fact that draft classes take the actual age, instead of the birth year. As for the colleges, I think the .FDC college list is different from the .ROS college list. No theory at all on the names. They're always screwy.

Can someone help me, because before I played Sg, And get endorsements about three magazines, billboard , and the letter. But when I make a new PG my player there is a bug I already had the three endorsements. How do I fix it?

Right you are. The college names for FDC files are taken from the list, which is stored inside roster.iff file.
What about the names - there's really a bug. It's already fixed for the next release.

I'll post more updates on the development progress soon, as right now i'm quite busy, also the project's moving to its next evolution stage.

Unfortunately, can't say anything unless i have your file and know all the edits, you made step-by-step. Sometimes glitches are actually not glitches of REDitor or game bugs... for example, try to globally edit every single player's salary to $99 m and sim the post-season.

Nope, not possible. It will be possible to transfer some of the data, once 360 files are supported.

Try to disable your antivirus. REDitor is virus-free.
