Why some courts have more reflection than others ??



Celtics court doesn't have any reflection at all ....

also try to add logos for grizzlies court.. their anniversary logo..

it's just my opinion, based on the watching every nba stuff there is on tv xD

colors:
bucks: you missed the green by a little and team on-court logos should be in the same green as the paint and out of bounds area.
cavs: both colors off, other is good
jazz: paint color should be exact like that little piece of green on the center logo
clippers: paint area color not good, should be darker blue, also on the center logo should be darker blue
kings: just a little more darker purple
magic: totally wrong blue color
rockets and raptors: wrong red
pistons: both colors wrong, and center logo colors very off

floors: suns, kings, clippers

all others are perfect to me

i'm not mad but let me say something to your critics..

bucks: the green and on court logos still have the default 2k colours, i didn't touch those...
cavs: which colours do you mean? this court is based on thelegend23's cavs court which was great. it also has his reflections. the only thing i changed is the yellow of center logo and paint, and floor textures/colours. yellow was too dark for my taste.
jazz: this court is also based on the thelegend23's jazz court. if the paint would be the same colour as midcourt logo, it would be way to dark. this is how the original jazz court looks like:

clippers: i already darkened these 2 colours. i agree, if you look at tv footage the blue is a little bit darker, but not much. it's it's not 'way off' as you sad earlier
kings: this is the default 2k colour...didn't touch it.
magic: see above. paint colour is the default 2k colour.
rockets and raptors: see above.
pistons: see above

so the colours on bucks, kings, magic, rockets and pistons court are still default 2k. but they are not that far 'off' that i had to change them..

regarding the floors: clippers can't be done 2 tone without a 3d-tool. the kings floor varies from footage to footage, sometimes it looks a bit more yellow, but this his how it looks most of the time. suns is the only floor i don't like as much either i will work on this, but as for the others, i won't because these are just little things that don't bother me much it takes a lot of work to edit floor colours and only to make the magic blue a bit darker? i think it's not worth it..

because most have the default 2k reflections, only 3 courts are edited: knicks, jazz, cavaliers.

edeting reflections is very complicated, i can't do it to be honest. i tried it but it always looks shitty. and the reflection are not that bad as they looks on these screenshots. i think 2k did a pretty good job. i'm one of the people who prefers less reflections, if they're too much, it can look like a ice skating rink quickly ... but that's just my opinion evrybody has different taste

in this pic, some reflection is missing on the wing. What will happen is the player reflections will disappear in certain spots on the floor if you miss some spots.

You should try to lessen the reflection just like in real life..

i noticed that too. i read your tutorial and i changed the value where it says 'Floor reflection during game' and it turned out this way...but where are the other spots?

They are pretty much in every section, you have to work to find them. If you are using legend or ricoy's courts, you should be able to spot the value they used for the reflections on a particular court
