NCAA MM 2K11 - Patch #6.5 - Final Update

got distracted with GT5 and some other games, going to sit down today and really grind out the art part of this mod.

OK, I am reverting back to using CAT uniforms w/ Wordmark for the uniforms part of this. Yes we have 18 teams we can convert from 2k10's mod but with the new normal texture and trouble importing converted dds files with the jersey editor I'm going to hold off on accurate uniforms until v2.....even then I don't know because me doing much art outside of courts usually ends in tears.

With the release of the REDitor II demo we can see that Vlad has incorporated a tab specific to CAP faces. This will allow me to generate random faces for the players so we won't have copies running around like I had initially planned.

And yes, I am cutting corners because I want this v1 out ASAP. I am not a perfectionist and this mod will need help in the future. I am hoping that getting a version out will get more help.

yep, I accidently deleted all the art I created a month ago and my roster spreadsheet the other week when i was cleaning off my desktop

its still going to be released ASAP (once the roster corrupting bugs are fixed in the REDitor) it's just not going to have accurate uniforms or random generic CFs that I had created.

I'm probably going to have to ask someone else to do the uniforms for me since I really dont want to do the converting process again, and faces are going to have to wait until the REDitor allows CAP hair to be edited in the editor.

I found a much lazier idea for uniforms Use the 2k10 uniforms!

I totally forgot that you can straight up use 2k10 uniforms in 2k11 without much issue (you get a metallic effect)

Since I added new teams this year, some teams will not have "official" jerseys for the first public version

that's what they will look like. if the REDitor updates with the read of the CAT jersey things I need then those will get updated, and eventually I can either make those jerseys or someone else can.

Right now I haven't transferred the player data into the roster, but if I can get some beta testers to play around with what I have now just shoot me a PM.

So I've released the public beta and tons of information in the first post.

I start school and possibly a job next week so I was hoping to have this week to polish this mod up but I learned today that my last week of freedom is going to be busier than next week.

I'm hoping that it's just that I changed the divisions around, so if I change it back it should work.

I was really really really hoping to have the Jordan Challenge working. I even made sure to replace Clyde and 'Nique with LeBron and Magic so the goals will stay the same, but no dice. If I get more time to work on this I might add 8 or 9 more all time teams to overwrite the many UNC All Time teams.

Excellent job on this man. Is there a way to get Louisville Cards in there? Definitely commend your efforts on this one. Looking forward to downloading.

As it stands right now, I am going to try and fix the association/playoff/my player crashes, maybe add more all-time teams instead of 10 UNC teams, and incorporate any face/hair or uniform help I get from the community.

If you were to make the CAPs and art I'd be glad to incorporate it, but I really, REALLY, dont want to load up 2k8 again to get more ratings, lol.

Hahaha. No problem man. I don't like the Cards, it's just UK's rival... I'm perfectly happy with the team list. If I get some time away from the youngin, I may try to nab some good logo's etc for UK. I just don't know if time will allow.

Hey JaoSming, contact Amarowaade about doing Arenas and Jerseys, we discussed it a while back and he said he would. Also Ricoy on Stadiums too. And Koresh_NIK and MiR about the CF faces. I remember I sent group messages to these guys about a College Hoops 2k11 project months back. And they were on board with it. And Flaming Ninja even though he's hit and miss...

You might want to get Cerv0008 or something like that and few other kats to do College Dorna's and goal post / stadium files. You don't have to be solo on this project. A lot of guys were already will to participate...just got to contact them personally, instead of just letting the thread roll with news.

This project could be major with a nice contribution as a team...that's what NLSC is about being a team. Lets get unified and get this project rolling forward.
