Hey man, thanks for the shout-out. Regarding a roster update, we are lucky to have a plethora of modders doing very good work.

Forum member iamravegfx just recently posted a facebook link containing a complete update to the game:

Regarding jerseys however, I recommend Spree1985's converted jerseys from work done by Pep and Mythbuster for 2K14:

yesterday i've catched time to play few games and this game always reminds me that this is, without any doubt, the best nba 2k of last gen.

graphics and gameplay are outstanding, no other last gen nba 2k can match it.

all this makes me sad that urb/ubr mods never got to this game...

It is a shame it was a year early on that modding explosion. I definitely can't promise multiple retro seasons, but let's see what can be done about 2018 and 2019.

Also, for those who haven't watched the teaser yet, embeds should be working again.

yeah, you described it pretty much accurate, "a year early on that modding explosion"...

anway, is it possible that you, at least, fill up custom players on those retro teams with real ones when and if you decide to release 2018, 2019 rosters?

That'd be great. If I've got your permission to start using assets you've already released, I can start adding them as I go. Jerseys and courts will be important, too.

Looks like there are quite a few assets that will help bring the game up to date, graphics-wise. I'll see what I can get done over the weekend in terms of the roster.
