Man, the amount of titles is what shut people's mouth, but we have to be careful with the role that particular player had when he won the right to use the ring. You can't compare Robert Horry(who has 7 rings) to Jordan!! You can't compare Ron Harper to Kobe just because both have 5 rings!!!
I never saw Bill Russel playing, Kareem, etc. So the best player after Jordan is Kobe. Man, I hate comparisons, they make everybody look stupid, even myself.
And just to finish that off-topic contribution of mine: I think D-Wade is better than LeBron also...

bla bla bla I am 29 and I am from Utah and if you cant agree with players like magic Johnson and people like Phil Jackson when they say there will never be another mike then to me you dont know what you are talking about and shit man if you are 25 and watching the last two championships you must have been what 10 lol cause i was only 14 but regardless bill Russell was tall and could stand in the middle because in those days they didn't see players that size its the same reason wilt the stilt was able to score 100 points in one game pure dominance in size period, I dont buy that crap that bill Russell was the greatest ever

I can't understand you, the point of my post was exactly to say that MJ is the best and Kobe after him, of course. But the best player I've ever seen with the right age to understand things clearly is Kobe. And let me say something Kobe has 5 rings and on 3 of them, he had a secondary role(The diesel being the star) and the other 2 he was the man, everybody knows that. So, I could never say that someone who won 6 rings, the way he did, is not the best. He is and will always be.
But, if Kobe could win 4 more titles(something impossible in my point of view) being the star and the leader we could start to think about a comparison.
I think Kobe has a leadership nature, a competitive nature that is just the drive it's needed to make winners. Playing with the head is what separate players like Jordan and kobe from the rest. Jordan is God and Kobe is Jesus. You can never touch God, because he created you.

Yeah, I feel that way too, but they are still playing and the only guy in that team that I think is way too weak is D-Fish. Kobe can win, Pau can still win and Bynum hasn't show us yet what he came for, so if he has a healty season and play what he can. I don't think the Lakers being a experienced team, can't win. Even with a such strong East side. I mean, c'mon man, they are not dead. But my point is, I doubt he can win 4 more, but 1 I don't think is impossible.

THISSSSSSS!!! all respect to you Radio. Harold Effing Miner!
Miami Heat history 101, great player, spectaular dunks but where is he now "/
It was the damn coaches that killed his career. Alvin Gentry if I'm not mistaken. He barely played in any team he was in (Heat and Cavs), sure he was a high-flyer but he lived above the rim and not in the real world.

I think we will find many, its just like last year ostertag was hidden when he could have easily been added to the jazz so they must not have been able to contact him so i agree with jaelove I bet there will be many hidden players that 2k planned on adding but didn'tI think i am gonna go to basketball reference and look up each one of these teams to get an idea of who we will see in the game from the bench and other starters, if you guys want i will post here
