everytime i record using fraps, a few seconds results to a few hundred MB's which is too big....any tricks that i need to know to lower that?

Yea, that happened to me and I hate that to. Just record with Fraps and then after take the file into Windows Movie Maker and save it. Just delete the Fraps recorded one and there you go. My clips usually go over 100mb and get cut down to less around 5-15mb. Also I dont really need to worry about memory to much cause I have a 1TB computer but always better the more memory you have. But when you save into Movie Maker the quality is still the same. Thats just my method
