people like to clump players together based on position when guys like derrick rose and blake griffin are 2 of the top 10 players in the nba, but they see guys like carmelo and amare who are one dimensional and make a block on espn and think those guys are better because they have been in the league more years.
blake maybe on a losing team and is a rookie and rose may not average 10 assists a game but that doesnt mean that overall theyr not better players than those other guys that you have seen for 7 years and yet people think that for some reason more needs to be proven. talent talks and as much as you wanna base everything around stats...the smart people know that stats dont paint the whole picture. i encourage you to watch nba games not just for oh that guy made a fade away jumper but for the single-double screens, the defensive switching, the off the ball denial and all the little things that go into basketball and not just that guy got 5 blocks or 5 steals he must be a monster on defense.
