Manfred Nissley and his views on NBA happeningsMinnetonka Lake Restaurant InterviewsAndrew Joplin
We here at Minnetonka Lake Restaurant invite a person important to our state every week to tell us about their life and what they think about current events, we hang the articles on our restaurant walls. We are happy to announce that the Minneapolis Times has asked if we would like to publish this interview. We of course said yes!
AJ: Hello Manfred!
MN: Hello Andrew!
Andrew: We appreciate you coming to here and agreeing to do an interview with us.
Manfred: No problem, especially since I come here anyways. I love your policy of banning soy from your cooking!
Andrew: Oh! You appreciate that!
Manfred: Yes I do, Lets just say that if... never mind that would give Kevin Durant ideas.
Andrew: Ok! Tell us about what your opinion of the state of the NBA right now.
Manfred:
I feel the Stealth are starting to peak right now. They probably don't have much run left unless they pick up a point guard like me. I will say that I hope they dont try to trade or me as I do not want to play with KD. He is an arrogant snob, and the refs dont call a lot of his fouls. I still have a bruise from one of his elbows digging in my back from the last time we met.
I feel sorry for the Kings as I think they already peaked and I don't think they can pull another playoff upset over the Thunder. They may not get a chance If we meet them in the first round. Chara is the only person keeping that team afloat. People like to think that Chara is mean individual but I got to know him over the summer and I would love to have him here in Minnesota. Hint, Hint Management. I think Chara would be the final piece we need.
In the East I feel the Nets have the best chance to upset the Thunder. They have a nice core.
Andrew: Whats your opinion of the rumor saying that players want to go on strike to get a new agreement.
Manfred: What an idiotic idea. I think we players are paid far too much. The players should be happy with what we have. If they want to see what extreme salaries do to a nation they should check out Greece. The players over there don't even get paid anymore due to the nation paying so much out to their current and former workers.
Andrew: Who do you like in the next presidential election?
Manfred: Herman Cain
Andrew: Who do you think will win "Dancing with the stars"
Manfred: Whats that?
Andrew: Nevermind.
Manfred: Actually I prefer America's got talent and Briton's got talent.
Andrew: Cool. Now you said recently that there is some personal news that you would be releasing eventually. When will that occur?
Manfred: Not yet at least. It may be 10 years from now.
Andrew: I hear you like listening to Old Time Radio.
Manfred: Yes, I love those old shows. Jack Benny, The Great Gildersleeve, The Life of Riley, This is your FBI, among many others.
Andrew: Cool. Do you own a collection of shows and if so where did you buy them?
Manfred: Oh I have a large collection. It should be noted that you do not have to buy them as their copyrights have long run out!
Andrew: Well it was good having you here. One more quick question. What is your opinion of how Sit has done in Seattle. Do you think the owners are cool or do you think someone else should own the team.
Manfred: It is my opinion that the Stealth should stay as they are. If they change ownership it would be much harder for us to beat them as they would come down of KD perty hard for his antics. Ty is totally underrated by their owners and while KD is good they treat him like is the king there. That is not good for any team.
Andrew: Well good to have you here. Enjoy your meal!
Manfred: Thank you! Well "I had better be shoveling off." Or "shoveling in" in this case. I need to be at practice in 1 hour.
Editor's note: It should be noted that the phrase "I had better be shoveling off" comes from Digger O'dell the friendly undertaker on the "Life of Riley"

Amazed how this is still going on, I admire your dedication to this. Browsed through the past 30 or so pages, the ones that I've missed, but didn't see anything about virtual me, except that Clippers are still sucking. I think I was injured at some point, still recovering from it?

The Benny Hinn saga continues
Part 1
Richard Milton
Well more is coming out of the woodwork now that certain individuals are behind bars stemming from the Drug bust in Seattle a few months ago. Yesterday Gene T. Hermann was hit with NCAA sanctions. Gene T. Hermann is a 6'1" PG from Olin College. Yesterday the school announced that Gene had been suspended from school due to conduct detrimental to the university. Gene is not a great player and a was a long shot in the draft this year and did not appear on most draft boards. In unprecedented move the NCAA is requiring him to pay his former school $100,000 because of how it has been determined he was ineligible to play due to playing for a small relatively unknown pro basketball team before entering college on a scholarship. It turns out he had also been payed $70,000 per year for the last 2 years by the California Condors just for being on their roster. The California Condors it turns out were owned by one of Benny Hinn's shadow companies - Miracle Sports. While the Condors' headquarters were based in California their home playing location was Tanzania. It was only 2 months ago when investigators discovered the shadow organization and shut it down. While investigating the organization it was discovered that not only did they sign college kids to big paydays to play during summer leagues they also offered them performance enhancing drugs. It turns out that the California Condors whooped up on the other teams in the TBA (Tanzania Basketball Association). Questions are now being raised in Tanzania as to who should now receive the Championships now that the awards have been stripped from the Condors.
Part 2
Mark Revlon
Yesterday Harvard was forced to give the US government access to its files by court order. Investigators will not say what they are looking for. There are rumors linking the Benny Hinn scandal to a another very high profile individual. The individual has not been named but for some reason as soon as the FBI went into Harvard the Dow dropped 100 points. What is a little odder is that the Nasdaq jumped at the same time by 10 points.
Part 3
Oobo Hue
BREAKING NEWS
The price on Nike stocks is falling through the floor today after Chinese authorities arrested the owner, and several of his workers, of a plant that makes Nike shoes. It has turned out that shoes from his plant were laced with cocaine or marijuana and that several NBA players who wore shoes from that plant may have been falsely accused in past years of drug abuse. Possibly among the players that may be cleared are Chris Anderson and Stanley Roberts. Or it may come out that they were directly involved at some point.
