Aww, damn Ray Allen. Wade and Rose better pick up their shooting next game, or you could face elimination.
Lakers 116, Rockets 77? Is that a bad sim engine or what?

Good luck in game 6. Here's to hoping for a 7th back in Chicago.
06 Finals you mean?

I'll agree with that, would be boring if i was blowing everyone out by 50
Lamrock wrote:Heartbreaking loss. Looks like this may be the end of the Bulls' 2010-11 title hopes. Good luck taking game 6. You'll need it.
Also awesome to see Rondo win PotG with 4 points.

He did have a big double double with rebounds and assists

Martti. wrote:A heart-breaker right there. The Celtics are capable of pulling off upsets, as they reached the Finals as a 5th seed. But I know your deep hatred toward the Celtics, so kick some ass in the last 2 games.

Not really an upset since they (Technically) are the defending East champs...but i know what you mean.
You'll be sure that I'll try my best to win the next two games, or at least, wear them out so much that either Dwight or Iverson will kick their ass in the ECF
George7 wrote:Damn! This really resembles really much the 08-09 playoffs!!
Hopefully it will end with the Bulls advancing this time!
I will send my infos later today
Yeah, it's really like deja vu....except for the number of overtimes
Got your info, you'll prob be in the 2013 draft though
Thierry. wrote:Oh, Wade couldn't find his groove.
Come on, give more shots to Turner!
Nobody found their groove
I'll see what happens, for now I rather have Brad Miller play more minutes off the bench than any one of the Turner, Korver, Morrow trio

Lakers are just too beefed up front with Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Shaq......Yao can't handle them himself, and then there is this dude called Kobe who's killing everybody

12 points in the 1st and 13 in the 3rd? You annihilated their starters, man. Good work. Game 7 should be a good one.

deeeeamn! haven't checked out this Assoc. in some time (thought it was defunct for some reason) but glad i did today - this current series has turned epic! got a feeling Boston's line is still too seasoned/strong for you and that your season is coming to a premature end, but it aint over til the fat lady yadda yadda... GL in game 7!

Yeeahhh!!
Fantastic win!!Come on! You have to win on game 7!!

Rondo just keeps on sucking.
Sucks that Korver couldn't make more then just 1-7 from deep. I see you winning in game 7 with a buzzer-beating three by Korver.

That would be epic
Hopefully Wade can have a better FG%.

Great win to force a game 7. Homecourt has proven to mean little in this seasons, but I gotta say, I like your chances.

What a hard fought win, that should give you a boost for Game 7

Homecourt does prove to be nearly meaningless for me in postseasons....but hey, lets hope that's not the case in this upcoming game 7
Houndy wrote:What a hard fought win, that should give you a boost for Game 7
Hopefully it didn't drain my guys instead
Note: I've updated the NLSC prospects list up top with new participants, it's now 5-4-4 for the next 3 drafts, and yes megarover, i found yours, you are in the 2012 draft class

Chapter 9
"What do you mean I'm done?" yelled Luol Deng "I ain't done, I can still play! This is nothing!"
"Well, don't be mad at me, I'm just the messenger" Byron Scott replied "They told me your injury is too serious to continue now, and I could tell by your play on the court in these past 2 games as well"
"Have a little faith in your team, okay?" Scott finished before turning around and began to walk off
"What's all that about the rookie coming back then?!" Deng yelled after him "I thought they said his season was done?!"
Byron Scott paused in his tracks "I knew it was coming" he thought to himself
"Evan is back because he recovered ahead of schedule, that's what the trainers told me"
"He's just going to screw everything up, that kid ain't good enough" replied Deng "If you are going to play him, why don't you play me?"
"Because you are injured. I am not going to say anymore "Scott stated firmly "This conversation is over."
"Begging for minutes now old man?" said Turner, who happened to have walked by and heard everything.
"Fuck off rook, you got nothing"
"You should just go and find a nursing home or something" Turner continued to taunt Deng "You might get hurt again"
"You asking for a beating rook?" Deng was fuming "Get the fuck out of here"
Turner laughed and walked off with a smirk on his face, enjoying every moment of it. Deng had bullied him the whole season. "At last, he's getting what he deserves" Turner thought as he went to the lockeroom.
✧✧✧✧✧
The return of Turner sparked a different look for the Chicago Bulls, they managed to blow out the Celtics in game 4 and tied the series, but a game winning three by Ray Allen in game 5 had Chicago looking in the face of elimination.
Luol Deng watched all of this and was extremely fustrated. He knew he can help stop Paul Pierce, who had scored a combined total of 49 points on 22 for 37 shooting in the two games that Deng had sat out.
"The rook gets burnt all day long on d, he shouldn't even be playing" Deng was telling anybody he could find "I should be out there"
"Well, you are injured right now, don't worry about it too much" Wade was comforting him "Just focus on getting healthy and coming back to the team"
"That kid is getting too much stinking attention" Deng complained "Look at the goddamn article headline, 'rookie comeback saves the day for Chicago' 'Turner succeeding after Deng's failure'!? what the fuck, that cocky rookie hasn't even done shit, I'm an all-star for fuck sake"
Wade nodded in silence as he listened to Deng's rant. He, too, did not like Turner's return. It was taking away his playtime, shots and media attention.
✧✧✧✧✧
"Welcome to the United Center on a beautiful afternoon for a Game 7 showdown between the Chicago Bulls, and the Boston Celtics" Mike Breen announced "This one promises to be another epic game, does it not?"
"Yes, I would say so" answered Mark Jackson "This is nearly the exact same scenario as the last time these two clubs met in the first round. Chicago wants revenge and the Celtics want make a statement"
"It's a game 7, it's always going to be great." added Jeff Van Gundy "It's win or go home for these guys, the Bulls are the best regular season team in the East and the Celtics are the defending Conference Champions. Just one thing strikes out to me, whether the Bulls can play as great defensively as they did in game 6, and whether they can finally find a way to slow down Paul Pierce and Ray Allen."
"Surprisingly, a member of the Bulls - Luol Deng - said they couldn't"Breen remarked "It was practice yesterday, and we caught up with Luol. He said that Pierce will continue to drop 20 point, 30 point games as long as Turner is there on the court defending him."
"He's got a point. It's not entirely Turner, but every one of the Chicago small forwards that are playing"added Jackson "You look at their guys, Kyle Korver, Anthony Morrow, and of course the rookie Evan Turner. None of them can defend at a level that would even hinder a player of Pierce's caliber"
"Either way, this game promises to be great as they get ready to tip it off." Breen stated "Joakim Noah will tip against Kendirck Perkins as this final decisive game in the Eastern Conference Semifinals will get underway"
✧✧✧✧✧
Doc Rivers watched as Joakim Noah slammed the ball through over the defense of Kevin Garnett and Kendrick Perkins and shook his head before signalling for a timeout. Even if it was just the first quarter, he's had enough.
The Bulls were on an 8-0 run and the Celtics are helpless.
"You want to lose to these bunch of kids?!" yelled Rivers in his huddle "If not, man up! We want those rings again, alright? You gotta earn it!"
"What did we work all year for? To have revenge on the Lakers right? How are we going to do that if some Chicago scrubs beat us?" added Rivers before turning to his point guard
"Rajon, stop being a pussy out there, be aggresive and hit them hard"
Rondo nodded in silence as the timeout ended. The Boston Celtics re-entered the game with a fury in their eyes.
It was still anybody's game.

i just can't realise who won...
Hopefully the Bulls....

Awesome story!

Though I think Doc River's language towards Rondo is a little too harsh.

Hope you win Game 7!
