NBA Enjoys Thanksgiving
NOVEMBER 28, NEW ORLEANS – The NBA celebrated Thanksgiving by holding 9 games for the national holiday.
Eric Gordon scored 36 points along with grabbing 9 rebounds and dishing 7 assists to lead the short-handed LA Clippers to a 112-108 win against the Atlanta Hawks. Amare Stoudemire (back injury) and Ray Lliach (broken toe) watched from the sidelines as DJ White added 21 points, 11 rebounds and Rafer Alston scored 20. Manu Ginobili was the high scorer for the Hawks with 27.
In what would have been the upset of the night, the Portland Trailblazers upset the league leading Sacramento Kings. Ben Gordon led the Blazers with 29 points. Portland also had big contributions from its other 3 starters. Brandon Roy added 24 points and 11 assists, Greg Oden had 23 points and 14 rebounds, and Carlos Boozer finished with 22 points and 9 rebounds. Michael Redd scored 26 and Moses Chara had 18 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists in the losing effort.
Reshawn Tyson scored 35 in front of friends in his return home, which doubled as a 115-95 win for the Seattle Stealth’s fifth victory on the trot. The Knicks crowd was cheering for Tyson whilst booing the rest of his teammates. Kevin Durant added 20 points. Marreese Speights scored 26 points and Sebastian Telfair tallied 11 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds against his former team.
The New Orleans Hornets had an exciting come from behind 126-120 win in Dallas against the Mavs. Mark Moore scored 22 points and Chris Paul completed a double double of 22 points and 10 assists. Clippers In A Rut
NOVEMBER 30, LOS ANGELES – The 7-10 LA Clippers are having a lot of bad luck this season with three starters out with injuries. Richard Jefferson is out for the rest of this season due to a torn ACL. The Clippers are trying to lobby the NBA to allow them an injury exemption so that they can bring on board an extra player. Jefferson is in the last year of his contract.
Amare Stoudemire has been slowed down by a lower back strain but looks like he is on the mend and aiming to play in 2-3 weeks. Ray Lliach’s broken toe has him looking at staying sidelined for at least another month. “We just got to keep playing,” Clippers PG Rafer Alston said, “We don’t have our core group of guys but there’s nothing much we can do about. Just got to keep playing hard.”

The Stealth Need You!
NOVEMBER 30, SEATTLE – The Seattle Stealth have started a competition for fans to create a new team logo. The Stealth’s team colors are grey and indigo. However, the team does not have a team mascot or symbol. That gives Stealth fans a lot of room for creativity. The winner with the best logo has been promised a cash prize and floor seats to a future game this season.
Despite the call for change, General Manager Will Sit revealed that a new uniform would not be in the books. "I believe we have a pretty unique uniform in the NBA," Sit said, "We're playing basketball and not running a fashion show. It doesn't matter if people think we have the ugliest kit in the league." When asked about the team logo, he replied, "The logo is a different thing. Our fans need some kind of moniker and up until now, we've only been known by name and the current logo which just has the team name 'Stealth'. It's time to get something interesting."
Team Captain Jason Kidd felt that Team Owner Magic Johnson was the man to blame for the team's refusal to supply new uniforms, "I think he's worried that it's going to cost a lot of money for the team. I don't see why we can't update our jerseys a little bit. They look like high school training jerseys to me." Andrew Bogut also isn't happy with the team's current uniforms and is lobbying for a change, "They're just so plain. And the grey jerseys soak up all the sweat pretty easily and look terrible."
Assistant Coach and former Stealth Rasheed Wallace defended the team's uniform, "I think they're pretty cool."

He got his facts wrong. Chinese national team members won't be arrested in Hong Kong by Chinese officials...we run a completely different judicial system thank you very much

Both, the story was awesome, but it goes away from basketball (the original and main theme of your story). But it will be worse if you just decide its a random addon

Sources within FBI have told us the name of the NBA player that was arrested in Seattle on condition of anonymity. Instead of giving me one name that is absolutely the correct one they gave me ten that could be involved with one being the correct player.
1 James Jones
2 Lebron James
3 Rajon Rondo
4 Allen Iverson
5 Carlos Arroyo
6 Derrick Rose
7 Carlos Boozer
8 Andrew Bogut
9 Kobe Bryant
10 Charlie Villanueva
The player I think Is most likely the one could be Kobe Bryant. This is in relation to the news reports that the player is linked to the Benny Hinn situation. Remember some of the Lakers were involved from the onset in that scandal.
Other sources are telling me that they think it is Allen Iverson. Personally I think this could be possible due to his poor performance this year, but this is highly unlikely.
We do know however that a Chinese basketball player who was on China's nation team was one of those involved, and evidently the national team's coach was arrested in Beijing. This is according to anti-government reporters leaking information to Hong Kong reporters.
