Seattle Not Playing Like A Playoff Team
NOVEMBER 14, SEATTLE – The Seattle Stealth opened the season with an encouraging win against the Philadelphia 76ers but since then, they have not looked very impressive. The team lie at 3-6 after a 139-115 drubbing at the hands of the Indiana Pacers. This was Seattle’s third straight loss and George Karl and crew are hoping to stop their slide in their next game against the Toronto Raptors.
Leo Chase was outstanding for the Pacers with 27 points and 19 rebounds. Ricky Rubio also had a double double with 18 points and 13 assists. Coach Karl has pointed to a lack of effort on the defensive end from his team as blame for their slump. The Stealth again looked woeful as they were on the wrong side of a 52-27 rebounding edge. Kevin Durant also continues to play poorly as he had another subpar night with just 18 points.
Durant has blamed his poor form for Karl trying to integrate a more balanced system and encouraging other players to shoot the rock. “I should be getting more shots,” Durant complained after the game before quickly leaving.

NOVEMBER 24, NEW ORLEANS – Chris Paul said that it would be an intense matchup between two aspiring Western Conference teams. The All-Star finished with 26 points, 10 assists and 3 steals and Mark Moore added 26 points and 7 assists to help the Hornets walk away with a 105-94 win.
One of the players not involved in the Mavs-Hornets first round series of the last postseason, Andrew Watson, made sure he would introduce himself to the rivalry as he played great with 25 points including 5 three point shots, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Jerryd Bayless finished with 17 points, 5 steals as his backup Aaron Brooks scored 10 from off the bench. Dirk Nowitzki, playing injured with plantar fasciitis, scored just 6 points.

NOVEMBER 25, MILWAUKEE – The Detroit Pistons have agreed to a deal to traded veteran shooting guard Rip Hamilton to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Charlie Villanueva, John Salmons and a future first round draft selection.
The 3-10 Pistons granted Hamilton’s wish of being moved to a better team after the 10-7 Bucks enquired on his availability after trade talks with the Phoenix Suns over Baron Davis cooled down weeks ago. The Pistons were happy to come away with two expiring contracts and a first round pick. Villanueva is averaging 12 points and 5 rebounds from off the bench this season. Salmons is averaging 5 points a game.
The other positive coming out of this deal is the opportunity the team now gets to start rookie Sam Slater at Hamilton’s old spot. The rookie has not shown an ability to play the point guard spot in the NBA and the Pistons are intrigued to see how he will do as the off-guard in their system.
The Bucks’ Jay Gray is excited about Hamilton’s addition to the team. Milwaukee has been in desperate need of a starting shooting guard and Hamilton gives them a solid scoring option at the 2. “This is great news,” Gray told reporters after a team training session, “Rip Hamilton is an NBA champion. He is one of the fittest players in the league and I believe that he can help us make it to the next level.” The Bucks shored up their frontcourt by also signing Brendan Haywood for the league minimum.
Hamilton is averaging 17 points, 3 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game this season. He hasn’t been shooting well for the Pistons, converting at just .437 from the field. He is a career 18.1 ppg scorer at a clip of .464 from the field.

As a backup combo forward, he's a helluva lot better than Mingiya or whatever that chumps name is. If you can, make it happen. Throw in a 2nd Round pick if you have to. Better yet, trade for Must. I think your team lacks enough big egos. Imagine Durantula, Tyson & Must playing togetherDavid Lee & two 1st Rounders & a cap filler for Must. Make it happen.

Love the blurbs, makes it much easier for me to follow your story. I'm not so much into the off the court drama as I am to what is going on around the league.![]()
Also good to see my guy play well, as it was good to see Mr Moore play well. The battle of the Kiwis
