Like X said, maybe Ariza could help you defending Roy.
hova- wrote:Nash is somewhat direct (maybe not arrogant) and honest in RL afaik. Well tough loss. It's nice that this is kind of a rivalry now that you mentioned it. Not only a NBA but also a local rivalry which I like a lot. I hope Wallace won't be out for the series. You could beat them inside whilst their guards are really good.
Sweet pic, do you edit those pics? They look quite real in a way.

Rip also cooled down.

The Blazers are no joke. Though you'll bounce back, even without Sheed. Despite his cockiness, Durant's still one of, if not the best player in the league. To this day, I still find it funny how the real life Durant is a really humble guy and ALIB2 Durant is the complete opposite.
And when I said "it sucks that it's almost over", I meant the story. Chapter 30 is the last chapter before the epilogue no? Unless you'll be adding more chapters, that is.

Preview - Box Score - Recap
By JING XU JR, AP National Writer
April 5, 2008
INDAIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Reshawn Tyson scored the game winning trey from NBA range at the buzzer. He played defence when it mattered most and did a great job at it. He was poised when his team was down late in the game. He was rewarded with the NCAA title for 2008 but he still needed help from his team mates in the end.
North Carolina toppled their third number 1 seeded opponent in as many games on their way to national glory for a second straight year with a completely different team. With 7 players from last year’s team having left the team, it was up to freshmen Tyson and Rocky Akonnor to lead the team through the tourney.
The win in the Final was a great team effort as Akonnor took up the burden of scoring as the Tar Heels took advantage of the Blue Devil’s lack of size. Tyson came up clutch while fellow Sophomore PG Marcus Kemp made two big buckets to help get UNC back into title contention.
For their opponent’s though, it was a nightmare; especially for Moses Chara. On the night where he was presented with a Team USA jersey from Jerry Colangelo, Chara’s night quickly turned sour with a pre-game tangle with North Carolina’s Tyson. He quickly made up for the delay of the start of the game by playing exceptional basketball, leading his team to a quick and sizable margin in the first half. Chara then saw his NCAA dream go quickly and suddenly down the drain as he was carried off the court on a stretcher with an injury.
A hard hit from big man Akonnor was hard enough to give him a broken ankle. Without their Junior star, Duke let their lead slip away quickly and then gave the game away in the second half.
Coach K, who was appointed Head Coach of the National Team, was bitterly disappointed with his star player’s game, “It was a great year for Moses and it is definitely a harsh blow to his preparations for his participation with the National Team program.”
Chara’s doctors have advised that he will need to sit out for 6 weeks and take a return slowly. Chara was looking optimistic in a press meet a day after the Final though, “I (Chara) think that I will make it to Team USA training camp. That’s certain but with the NBA, I’m afraid I won’t be able to make all my commitments to trying and working out for teams. My ankle probably won’t be ready by then but teams know who I am and how I play. I’m sure that one of the top teams will pick me up at least.”
Chara is looking like a lock in the lottery but the injury may hurt where he is taken. Originally projected as a Top 3 prospect, the Duke forward who can play either PF or SF and the two guard positions may be looking to slip further, even down to pick 9 or 10. “It’s really unpredictable where I will be taken,” Chara stated, “If it looks unlikey I will go in the top three, I think I will come back to Duke.”
For his rival Reshawn Tyson, the freshman pledged to return to College for his sophomore year, “I’m not ready for it (NBA) and I will need more experience leading a team before I make the jump.” Tyson made a great case for himself though; playing his best ever basketball in the second half of the Final. As one NBA scout said, “I never knew Tyson had that range on his shot nor did I know he could play defence like he did tonight. It definitely helped raise his stocks. I think he is definitely worth a mid first round pick. In fact, he may even slip into the lottery. Either way, he’s going to make the lottery next year no matter what.”
Tyson finished the game with 35 points, 8 assists and was named player of the game despite turning over the ball 8 times. Rocky Akonnor was the driving force though as he finished with 22 points; 14 of them coming in a 5 minute period where North Carolina quickly caught up to their rivals. Marcus Kemp was also impressive with 14 points and 7 assits.
Moses Chara finished the game with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in just 18 minutes, playing mostly in the first half. After his teammate left the court, C Andy Kloss finished with a team high 21 points and 11 rebounds. Fitzy Mercer found it difficult to score and finished with just 11 points, most of them coming early in the game.
North Carolina had fallen behind early, 13-7 after 5 minutes. After 10 minutes, it was 19-7 before Duke went on a scoring romp and let the score balloon up to 36-16 with 5 minutes left in the half. As Moses Chara turned up the heat on the court, Tyson struggled as he started off ice cold. The first half ended with Duke on top 49-32 and Chara leading his team’s charge with 18 points and 6 rebounds.
The second half began with a strange twist of events as Moses Chara bumped into Tyson on one play and on the ensuing play, Akonnor flattened the Duke forward. Chara was left rolling in pain on the court as team doctors rushed to his aid and eventually sending him off to a nearby hospital. With Duke up by a large margin, the Tar Heels began to chip away at it.
This led to a scoring run that helped UNC catch up to 61-58 with 9 minutes left thanks to Rocky Akonnor overpowering his opponents in the paint and Estonian F Martti Must rattling off three consecutive jumpers; his only buckets of the game. Tyson then tied the score at 61-61 with a three pointer as Duke called a time out to try to rectify their problem. In less than 6 minutes, the two teams had went on a scoring spree staying with each other; basket for basket. In a matter of minutes though, the Duke team made a flurry of successive jumpers to push ahead to 92-84.
This is where Marcus Kemp came in to lend a hand. After Tyson converted a big three point play, the PG made back to back treys to put UNC up ahead by 1 with 40 seconds left. Duke’s PG Matty King made a great pass, wrapping the ball around to an open Andy Kloss in the paint. Kloss made it 94-93 with just 18 seconds left. It was then up to Tyson who made the most of running out time and then hitting a three pointer, two steps behind the perimeter at the buzzer.
As the North Carolina team jumped up in joy and danced at mid-court, Moses Chara was stuck in a room getting a X-ray taken on his broken ankle. Talk about a bad day!
