James McGillicuty
We all know that Manfred Nissley is good for a few laughs and a few odd quotes. I decided to see if he would be willing to take the time to give a quick interview. As usual he does not disappoint.
JM: Mr. Nissley it is good to see you.
Manfed Nissley: Good to know that you can see!
JM: Huh?
MN: Haha. Gotcha! Yes, it is good to see you as well.
JM: I don’t have much time so why don’t we cut to the chase.
MN: Are you talking about the Finals?
JM: Yes.
MN: Well, here is my take on it. LeCrime de Ohio will be trying to flee the wrath of the Charing event known as the Kings, while trying to destroy the soldiers who are shooting the flaming arrows. Alas, it is my prediction that LeCrime’s henchmen will not be able to sight in their missile launchers and will over shoot Sacramento. Not only will this miss Sacramento but it will turn out that their missiles are boomerangs which will destroy their own team.
JM: How many games will it take to defeat Cleveland?
MN: 5 at most, but I predict a 4 game series with the Cavaliers self-destructing in Cleveland.
JM: What did you think of the Stealth vs. Kings series?
MN: The stealth should have won. It is my opinion that the Brett Favre of the NBA should have retired after last season.
JM: If the stealth would have won what would the finals been like?
MN: LeCrime de Ohio would have shrunk home after the first game and retired due to the loudness of the Stealth's retro jerseys of the thunder. Those lightning bolts can be quite deadly!
JM: You sure like to get people riled up don't you!
MN: The public demands it!
JM: Sure.....
At this point Nissley "bids me adieu" and leaves the room muttering something political.

2012-13 NBA Finals
NBA Finals SummaryGame 1: Cleveland 95 @ Sacramento 114
The Skinny: Blow out win for the Kings to open the series... Redd continues hot shooting with 29 points, Chara adds 20 and Jefferson adds 21... James held to 7 for 18 shooting as he gets 15... Gay leads the Cavs with 21... Kings lead 1-0...Game 2: Cleveland 106 @ Sacramento 123
The Skinny: Different night, same result as Kings cruise to victory. Looking like Kings could sweep this series... Redd once again leads the team in scoring with 32 points... Chara close to triple double with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists... Jefferson adds 19. Already more consistent than in the Western Conference Finals... Lebron James’ monster effort of 38 points and 8 rebounds goes to waste... Kings lead 2-0...Game 3: Sacramento 114 @ Cleveland 122
The Skinny: Cavs hold onto a win on their first game at home. They just need one more win to get this series back to Sacramento... Mo Williams was the X-factor tonight as he put up 24 points and 7 assists... Lebron finishes with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists in comparison to Moses Chara who had 30 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists... Jefferson has his first double double of series with 16 points, 11 rebounds... Kings lead 2-1...Game 4: Sacramento 108 @ Cleveland 122
The Skinny: 122 must be the Cavs’ lucky number... This game was close up to half time then Cleveland just destroyed the Kings in the second half... Good scoring across the board from Mo Williams (23), Delonte West (20), Rudy Gay (21), Joakim Noah (20)... Lebron has triple double of 19 points, 16 rebounds, 16 assists... Redd leads Kings with 25, Chara has 20 points and 8 assists and Al has another double double: 15 points, 10 rebounds... Series tied 2-2...Game 5: Sacramento 100 @ Cleveland 104
The Skinny: Kings will be spewing they let this one slip away. They were in it till the final few minutes... If only Michael Redd could have made a jumper, the Kings could have won. Redd was 4 for 17 from the field enroute to 12 points... Chara had 23 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists... Gay led the Cavs with 26 points, 7 rebounds... James added 22 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists... Cavs lead 3-2...Game 6: Cleveland 88 @ Sacramento 103
The Skinny: There will be a Game 7! The Kings blow out the Cavs at home. The score does not show how much the Cavs sucked... Lebron was 3 for 15 from the field. He somehow made his way to 14 points and 9 rebounds... Gay once again led the team in scoring with 18 points. Mo Williams added 17... Chara was great with 27 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists. Michael Redd scored 19... Series tied 3-3...Game 7: Cleveland 98 @ Sacramento 100
The Skinny: Redd scored the last two free throws and points of the NBA Finals from the free throw line with 7.4 seconds remaining... Boobie Gibson missed a three point attempt that gave the Kings the NBA championship for 2013... Finals MVP Chara finished series with triple double 25 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists... Lebron James was crying after the game as he was thisclose to an elusive first NBA title. He is probably spewing that Chara has one already... The ‘King’ had 23 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists... Jerry Stackhouse had 8 points and Shaquille O’Neal had 4... Rudy Gay played 19 minutes due to foul trouble... Westbrook had his best game of series with 14 points, 8 assists. Redd added 17 points and Jefferson had 10 points, 11 rebounds... Delonte West scored 11, Rudy Fernandez and Joakim Noah each had 12 and Gibson added 10... Kings defeat Cavs 4-3...

Improve Your Player and All-NEW Player Influence
Improve Your Player
Every participant has a certain number of points that they will be able to use on improving attributes of their virtual player. You only have one chance to use all these points so don’t waste your points (i.e. any leftover points are not able to be brought forward to the next tipping competition).
For every Skill-based attribute, it costs you 4 points in order to improve that certain attribute by 1. For every Physical-based attribute, it costs you 8 points in order to improve that certain attribute.
Skill-based attributes are skills like shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding, etc. Physical-based attributes includes attributes like strength, speed, endurance, as well as mental attributes such as awareness. If you are unsure whether the attribute you want to include is a skill-based or physical-based one, you are able to post and pose your question.
A quick example of how to let me know how you want to improve your player:
Player: 75 points
Three point shooting + 5 (20 points)
Mid range shooting + 4 (16 points)
Layup + 3 (12 points)
Stamina + 3 (24 points)
3 Points left over that cannot be spent
All-NEW Grinch Effect
The Grinch will be able to deduct points that you have earned in the competitions so that you are unable to use them. I have decided that the Grinch will not be able to lower your ratings as it is more work for me. It is easier to deduct points before you can use them.Shadowgrin 77
Every 1 point that the Grinch earns works out as 2 negative points. He can use negative points to deduct points that others have earned.
However, he is at liberty to use his points to improve the ratings of any player as well.
That is why the Grinch Effect is the wildcard of this interactive experience!
Shadow Can you decide on who you will be deducting points (and how much) from please?ASAP
All-NEW Player Influence
Here is a brand new scheme that gives you more control over the fortunes of your virtual player.
Complain About Role On Team: 100 points
Demand Trade: 200 points
Demand Trade and Request Destination: 250 points
For Free Agents Only
Choose a preferred destination: 80 points
Choose 2 preferred destinations: 120 points
Choose 3 preferred destinations: 150 points
The points listed are minimum values. The more points you spend, the stronger your request will be. If you don’t like being a benchwarmer, you can complain about your role. The more points you use, the stronger your complaint will be. It may result in a teammate being traded away or you forcing your way into the starting five. For example, spend 150 points to complain about your role and you are more likely to succeed with your complaint than spending just 100 points.
If you don’t like your team, spend at least 200 points to demand a trade. To ensure your trade demand does not fall upon deaf ears, spend more points to get your point across.
There are no guarantees that your player’s wishes will be heard and the only way to get past this is to spend more points.
Points
You can accumulate points during any time of the season by participating in contests and also by posting articles that provide a different view of my story. These points may be cashed in: at the conclusion of the postseason, before the regular season begins and All-Star weekend.
Prospects can only use their points during the preseason/before the regular season.
Good luck!

Where The NLSCers Are Projected For The 2013 NBA Draft
Just letting you guys know where you are projected to go in the Draft. Note that this is before the lottery has taken places, guys will move up and down the Draft in accordance with where certain teams are going to pick. There is one NLSCer who moves quite a number of spots (won’t say up or down) and you will have to wait and see who it is. I have decided that rookies can only use points after the Draft has taken place. Makes the story more interesting.
