2K11 shutting my laptop down

So I just got a new computer (laptop) this week and downloaded NBA 2K11. For some reason it completely shuts my computer down. Briefly it will close the program and show a "terminate" or "termination" warning, but its there for about half a second. I don't think it is getting too hot, but I could be wrong. Anyone else have this problem? I need it fixed!

I honestly have no clue what that is. Do I need it? If so, is there a particular download I need?

What I meant was, is it a pirated copy of the game or did you buy it via digital download? Because discussing pirated copies is against our rules and we won't help you with that.

Sounds like a hardware issue. Based on others who have posted about similar problems, the issue was related to overheating:
