Another Question(I need some Suggestions)

I recently found out about this Game Booster Software. I used it for playing the NBA 2k11 and Thanks to God that I can now Play the Game in "High Arena Setting", "VSync Mode: On" and "Floor Reflection: On". I'm really happy that I can now see and appreciate the High Detail Arenas in My game. but I have to Minimize my Screen Resolution(I forgot the exact resolution but it's the resolution BEFORE the Max Screen Resolution) and I also have to LOW the Crowd Detail(They are like Zombies anyway).

The I also found out about this Game Gain Software, it said that it can also boost my game performance, So this is My Question, I'm sorry for the Long Intro, I'm just glad that I can play My Game in Higher Arena Settings.

My Question/s:

1. Can I use this 2 Programs at the same time? Are they different from each other?

2. If I cannot use them together or They are just the same thing/program. Which is the Best Program for me to use? The "Game Booster" works fine, but I need some suggestions from the Others.

Yep, I'm using both too.

Game booster 2 is awesome.
Gamegain is not much of a help, but I think it does its job fine.


And I can't play with reflection on, it hogs my PC. so only medium player and high arena without the sideline characters(resource hog).

Ok! So I think I'll just stick to the Game Booster for now! BTW I'm so much Lucky than you 'coz I can Play w/ High Arena & Player Details with the sideline character, Reflection: On but in Low Crowd Detail. but I'll still make some Experiment in the Settings of my 2k11.

What's your specs?

I have a crappy processor that's why.

This is My specs:

Quad Core Q8400@2.66GHz
2GB RAM
32-Bit OS
NVIDIA GeForce G100 512mb

And the best Settings that I can squeeze with that Spec to my NBA2k11 is this:

-2nd to the Highest Screen Resolution
-Arena Detail: High
-Floor Reflection: On
-Crowd Detail: Medium
-Depth of Field: On
-Vsync Mode: Off

but I will turn On my Vsync as My Final Setting & My FPS is 24 at best!

I'm using a gamebooster

but sometimes I can encounter some "Shutter Steps" like while Inside the court the Players Slow their Motion for like a second(1 sec) then back to Normal Movements/Motion. But I can live with that while I'm still saving money for a new Video Card.

and a new ram. You have a nice processor.

Upgrade ram to 3-4GB. It should do the job.

And disable your AV while you're playing.

Disable the Search Indexing for the drive where the game is installed.

For Vista if installed in drive C:

My Computer --> right-click drive C --> select Properties --> remove the check of "Index this drive for faster searching"

Pro: it stops your HD from acting/reading like a spaz when playing the game which might cause random slowdowns/stuttering of the game.
Con: searching for files might be slow when you use Search/Find for that drive in Windows.
