My Player 3pt shooting

I have put every point in 3pt shooting for my 6'5 SG and now it's at 90. Why my 3pt% is only about 20% when all of my shots are perfectly timed and wide open? With this high rating I would expect at least 40% 3pt shooting. Am I doing sth wrong?

It's a BUG! loljoke. I dunno. I think I saw someone who also had the problem.

Signature might be bugged, try using another one.

Try using the shot button instead of the shot stick.

My 3pt rating was about 62 and I have no issue making open 3s.

I have 90 pt rating too,but when that rating is that high, ur shot success is gonna be low,cause it's not realistic to get 14 3pt in a game. But yeah, u shouldn't miss wide open shot. I remember a game against the rockets, when i attempted 25 3pt and i got like 4-5 of them. And 20 of them were wide, wide open 3.

I think it's the game who decide how many u gonna have, not ur rating or ur release.

Put lots of points into consistency! My player was never a good shooter... until I jacked up his consistency. It essentially means less misses in a row, more makes in a row.

i'm 99 consistency and i still manage to miss wide open shot on pro, and shoot 30-40% so the game is the problem.

Or maybe the release.

If you have this on pc which I believe you do since you are on this forum, than use tsearch or cheat engine and lock in your sliders. If you are missing wide open 3's than up the slider. But like someone else said up your consistency and than make sure to up your shoot off dribble and shooting in traffic. And to be real, people do miss wide open 3's. 3's aren't a gimmie, if that was the case people like ray allen would avg 10 3's a game.

Most of the issue is the signature shots. Some of them miss quite often regardless of what your rating is and others will make it quite often even if your rating is lower.

Try shooting from your hot spot. When you have three or more bars beneath your player, you have a better chance of hitting them. I can't hit anything with a player below 80 3pt rating unless I am in their hotspot, but that is in association mode.

Don't know yet in Association, since i havent started any yet coz im still waiting for the V2 RR of albys.

You're not going to shoot perfect every game. With 3pt shooting you're either hot or you're not. Some games you shoot decent, some you're on fire, and others you can't buy a bucket. I wish the mid-range game in 2K11 had this same effect instead of being able to sink almost every bucket from mid-range.

You're not going to shoot perfect every game. With 3pt shooting you're either hot or you're not. Some games you shoot decent, some you're on fire, and others you can't buy a bucket. I wish the mid-range game in 2K11 had this same effect instead of being able to sink almost every bucket from mid-range.

Totally agree bro. normally it happens in a quarter.

Im close to ending my 1st season (58 games) and now in the finals. I could say my shooting percentages are on average maybe between 40 to 52%. using default in all star and stick control. my ratings in mid is 90, close 75, inside is 75, dunk 90, layup 90, shoot in traffic 80.
