I'm having alot of problems with 2k11. I have alot of tearing on the bottom of the screen, which vsync didn't correct. My PC is the ASUS G73J, specs are: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870, VRAM 1GB, memory 8GB, HDD 320GB+320GB, Intel I-7 processor, Windows 7, EAX Advanced HD 4.0. I dont know if that's exactly how you list your PC's specs, I'm an absolute moron when it comes to computers as Jao knows all to well.
NBA 2K10 ran extremely well, I was playing up until a few days ago, the game was running at about 80-85 fps on maxed out settings (1920x1080). Literally, I was playing 2k10 on Tuesday night with no problems, went to Gamestop and picked up 2k11, and immediately noticed the issues.
When I run benchmark for 2k11 the fps drops to around 70 maxed out, and about 75-80 with a few minor settings adjustments like player detail set to medium. All of the obvious means of fixing the problem have been attempted, I've changed all the in-game settings to see if they would help, and to no avail. I've also tinkered around with the displays settings outside of 2k11, to help fix the vertical tearing but have found no solution! So it seems to me that the problem doesn't have to do with the fps, because as far as I know 70fps is more than good enough correct?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
