I know X will be pleased to hear it as well, as am I being a fan of those modes. Hopefully we can get some similar scoops for NBA Elite 11 with our game modes Q&A.

Actually the Association mode is the most important part for me. Playing a season and trying to get my team going has top priority.

In 2k10 though, with the release of NBA today, I found myself often playing NBA today games with 5 minutes per quarter and it was fun either.

NBA today is fun. According to my VIP, the Celtics and Suns are my 2nd and 3rd most used teams in 2K10. It's because of NBA Today.

I like the idea of NBA Today and Dynamic Season in NBA Live/Elite, I think it's a worthwhile alternative, but the fantasy aspect of Association/Dynasty still holds the most appeal to me.

 too true

I'd have to echo other people's sentiments that improved AI trade logic is a must. From a personal perspective, I'd like the Draft to be more a focal point in off-season with cutscenes (I used to love the cheesey Live '04 ones, wish they could've built on them :P ). More important than that though is get rid of stupid black silhouettes & have a shot of the player's cyberface. There is no reason why they can't do this as College Hoops 2k8 (with 300+ teams) was able to do this & I'm sure a previous version (not sure which one) of Live did it too.

That's a big point. I remember live 2000/2001 only having cyberfaces ingame (correct me if I'm wrong). They did it in the "My Player" mode and it should be possible to have it in an association.
Improved trade logic is a must, especially considering the positions of each player. The CPU should be able to build a solid rotation with each position covered up well. I hate to see 5 pgs on a team without a real big man.

I'm pretty sure NBA Live 10 did it, possibly NBA Live 09 as well. 09 also used cyberface renderings for all player portraits which I wasn't as big a fan of, though it's certainly fine for generated players.

Even the Clippers have a shot at kicking it with Barry in the Oval Office. NBA 2K11's revamped Association Mode sends your squad to the White House when you win it all. Are your GM skills up to the challenge?

Is Obama the President for the next 20 years?

A lil offtopic... I think I remember NBA Live 2001 having 2D player portraits. Does my memory serve me well?

this is a little off topic but some of the comments on facebook are rediculous, they are so clueless to how games are developed and they are underappreciative
..... and back on topic this is a great addition to this mode but hopefully also my player, could we possibly have a longer championship celebration? maybe even a victory parade

Nice addition and perhaps an indication of the level of detail they've gone into this year, but in my view it's a novelty that will wear off. It's still cool, don't get me wrong, but I'm looking forward to hearing about the things that will have a bigger impact on playing through an Association game.

You are correct. It was the last Live in which we could switch back and forth between the 2D and 3D portraits.

so does this mean its gonna be like old school 2k, i don't know if you guys remember back in the dizzay not sure which one it was
but you would have to take one of your players to the GM and the player would ask a question or be concerned about something and you
would have to give a response and depending on the response it would make the players attitude go up or down, is that what this is :?:
