Check it out here.

Sounds like they might have jumped the gun a little but the potential is there.

We are years away from not needing glasses. Although I would like them to go the special reflective screen with circular polarized glasses route, rather than the alternating eye route that has always been done. The industry is going to capitalize on this glasses tech, for both games and movies. I don't see how 3D games can be enjoyable unless they are made specifically with it in mind for things popping off the screen, etc, like some of the 3D movies.

Who is going to like playstation move when you have to use the dualshock with it? They will have to patch that.

I'm with Jao, Glasses are a bit much, but however.......

I have an Alienware M17x, and when I bought this laptop, I was asked if I wanted the 3D Monitor ( Of course, they just wanted me to spend more money because I'm not 100 percent sure it would work on my laptop even though my laptop suppose to have desktop capabilities)

but anyway, if I was to so happen buy this, which is highly unlikely, will I be able to enjoy NBA 2k11 in 3D without 2k properly making 3D possible?

also, my graphic cards supposely supports 3D, but I dont understand how that would work still..... :?

Well, according to the impressions posted in the article, it's not terrible but you shouldn't go in expecting perfection with the 3D support.
