Arena's in game?

Thu Sep 16, 2010 3:53 pm

Was wondering if there was any news of what arena are going to be in the game? From the looks of it all the 28 arenas from last season are in the game. But what about the 2 new arenas this season. Saw a pic of the nets but dont know the if that the prudential center or not. Also from all the vids and pics looks like if the New Amway center for magic didn't make the game. They seem to have court in but not the new arena.

Also have seen something the looks like "the forum" and "chicago stadium ". But was wondering if the would have a early 90's version Place of Arburn Hills , mid 90's version of the MSG and Late 90's version of the United center and what was known as the Delta Center for the Jordan mode. With no updated look of LCD sign's around the arena for example.

Did the old boston garden, key arena, omin, portland memorial coliseum and rich filed coliseum make it into the game???

I think it would give it a greater feel for the time period that those teams played in.

the garden is a no LED version of TD Bank, so that is generic. the sonics arena (from the first real trailer) looks like the generic D-League/CAT/Special Team arena from 2k10 but with no LEDs. I dont think they got rights to any classic arenas, just the courts.

I wasn't aware you had to get right to something that has been torn down as in the boston garden , the omni and rich filed coliseum. Thought that key arena would do it on the cheap since all the really have wnba money. And the portland memorial coliseum seems to be on its last day.

Well, you're aware now. The stadium rights belong to whatever corporation it belongs to or city that built it. The league doesn't own the rights.

Him and wall should be in the game otherwise it would be kind of weird and the wizards would stink.

 He thought you were talking about Gilbert Arenas.

That's what I thought you meant when I saw the thread title as well.

New York MSG still without MSG sign. Poor. 3 years the same bug.

It's not a bug. 2K doesn't have the rights to use MSG license.

license not so of a big deal but as long as there in arena's are in the game i can care less what the call it. Just make it look like its self.

which is interesting since they have a generic "New York Arena" logo which is in the same style as the MSG logo in the _lo version of the court in NBA 2K10
