Hello, I am a frequent visitor to these forums and I finally created an account to share my opinion and share my files. I want to learn how to create cyber faces (I may be limited due to the fact that I use windows 7) and help out if I can with rosters. Hopefully I will be a well recognized user on these forums one day.
For now, I just want to share some small things I learned from watching theNBA 2k11 Premiere Trailer.
At 0:50 you see an 80's Jordan trying to dunk in traffic as a Lamar Odom attempts to contest the shot. You can also see Bynum and Bryant in that shot. So I'm guessing those Jordan challenge teams (historical teams) can be accessed in a quick game and played with any current team. '96 Bulls vs '11 Heat or Lakers?
You can also see another example at 1:24 with Ewing and Rondo. There are actually so many examples of this I'm surprised nobody has pointed it out.
Also Shorts length are probably going to be team specific. At 1:04 you can see Jordan going to dunk and his shorts are a certain length while the Pacers shorts are the modern length. Hopefully they can be player specific and not just team specific.
If I find out any more information not covered in the forums, I'll add it here. Hope to hear from you guys.

You should make your thread titles more informative so you don't actually have to click on it to know what it's about.
Your observations are correct. They've been confirmed by 2K you will be able to use all the classic teams in both quick exhibition games and in Association mode. They confirmed it pretty early so that's probably why there's not a lot of talk about what you saw in the trailer. You will be able to use all the classic teams in both quick exhibition games and in Association mode.
I think the shorts will be players specific, so if you put Isaiah Thomas on a modern roster, he will still have short shorts. I hope they have that as an option in My Player mode and Create a Player.
