oh yeah.. better player introductions.. better graphics for created player and generated players in association mode. i call em "Dumb players". after playing through association for like 2 to 3 years.. you can really spot
who are generated..

yes, better commentators as well.. 3 in game would really make it sweet...

and yes, HARD FOULS and TECHNICALS . hope they fix this... maybe they can achieve this ... when a players holds down on the turbo button hard enough and tries block a driving player.. thus committing a hard and or flagrant foul... then maybe a sort of shoving and a little fight animation after wards..

The NBA won't allow unsportsmanlike technicals to be in NBA video games; at least they haven't in years past and given how image-conscious they are, that's unlikely to change anytime soon. I doubt we'll ever see unsportsmanlike technicals in a game with NBA license, only those that are assessed when a timeout is called with none remaining, defensive three second violation, etc.

But they should allow flagrant fouls. Like I said in a recent posts there should be a hard foul that allows us to save easy baskets. When you push it too late or the offensive player is already in mid-air this should result in a flagrant foul. Would add more depth and realism.

Agreed, so long as injuries aren't dependent on them since not all flagrant fouls have the intent of (or result in) injury.

Yeah Kellog is really bad, but it's not his fault I guess. His voice is okay, his lines just suck. They need to add even more line if they want to make it a realistic experience.

You know how lebron and artest wear shorts above the knee, and a lot of others wear it to the regular short lengt like in 2k10, and people like Iverson and atkins wear it way below, and sincee jordan is coming they should have short shors, that is why they should add short height.

I'd also like to see a couple changes to Association Mode (which I think is excellent). Players shouldn't improve nearly as much per season. Potential rating doesn't seem to make a difference, so I'm stuck with all players under 27 improving by 5-10 overall points every year. I highly doubt that Rodney Stuckey and Marvin Williams will ever develop into superstars.

Furthermore, D-Leaguers need to go. It is a huge pain having to get rid of all the fictional players. It is a perfectly good feature, but the inability to eradicate them from the free agent pool is a huge bummer. Replace them with real D-Leaguers or scrap the feature (it was a gimmick that few people will miss anyway).

Finally, add a fucking sim intervention feature already. It was the sole reason I chose Live 08 over 2K8.

Ok, as far as commentators go, they should have 3, 2 regular ones that talk about the play and JEFF VAN GUNDY to chime in every min and say some crazy shit like when Varejoa got injured and they were trying to call a time time. He said "so what if he is bleeding? Blood cleanses the soul" I LMAO for like the rest of the game.
But 2K11 needs to fix the MYPLAER Mode because thats all i do when i play 2K10, except when im playing friends. Im on my second player and i just started the new one POST-PATCH, and idk why but it feels better but not good enough. It's just too easy to be good individually. One the first one im a 99overall(to be fair it took me four seasons to get there) but anytime i play it, it's just to see how many points i can score(No im not a ball hog, i get 10 assists a game lol) but my current high is 92 points on 8min quarter. My new player is still a rookie, but im a 75 overall and the season isn't even done. I've scored 60points, and 50+ a bunch of times(10ast per game tho lol) and i was dominating since i was 60 something overall. I think it should take longer to get really good and the skill points should decrease the further down you get into your career so it takes longer to get very good and you should peak sometime at 89ovr and then if you continue, you'll get to 99. That will really motivate people to keeop playing. Also you should be able to request for trades when your not happy with your mins(one time, my player that was the leading rookie of the year candidate, going to the rookie/sophmore game AND allstar game was getting 5mins thru the whole game on 8mins q, NOT COOL). You should be able to change the simulation mins because i don't want to spend all that time playing just one game and i have to play every game so if i reduce the time for my team, we are stuck if a world of 50point games when every one else is scoring 90.
And then fixing ht online overall with less bugs would be reason enough to go to 2K11......
Oh who am i kidding? even if they repackage 2K10 and put MJ on the cover i'd still buy it.

Intentional Fouls in mid air. But if you abuse it, it sohuld result in a Flagrant. If it's a flagrant 1, make no injury. If it's a flagrant 2, make it the ejection, injury, free throws, suspensions, and all the biz.

But it should be used if someone is in the middle of dunking on a fast beak if you just dont want the easy bucket. I always try the metohd you said but I always miss the player or tap them on the arm and 1.

Yeah, it's not automatic. It only has a high chance of happening if you're directly front are at least at the side of the shooter and when you jump first or simultaneously to contest the shot. It's much easier to make it happen in 2K9 than in 2K10.
I get what you mean in missing the player. The turbo button tends to make the defender lose control or position when you start moving.
I'm guessing that an attribute may be in play to determine whether you can put the shooter on his back to the floor or merely tap his arm, i.e the 'hardness' of the foul. I don't know whether it's strength, quickness, etc.
For example, if you're using Rondo don't expect to him to foul LeBron to the ground, or do the same when you're using Kobe to stop Dwight.

I've benn asking for this since NBA 2K9, I totally agree with you...now with MJ in the game, this is a must. Plus I even if MJ was not in the game it just doesn't feel right playing with those "AND-1" short models with legends or palyers like Artest or Queen James.

You know what I would also really like in 2K11, more mental attributes *and make them ingame effective 2K (intended for association and season mode of course). Just add them to the list of players personal traits in the player's card along Importance of winning for player and loyalty. What I would add are both "positive" and "negative" mental attributes.

These are some examples of what I would like to see for any given player:

Player X:

-Winning is very important to player
-He is very loyal to the team
-Doesn't like playing at time Warner Arena
-Doesn't like being subbed off in late game situations

Player Y:

-Winning is very important to player
-He is loyal to the team
-Likes playing at Madison Square Garden
-Doesn't deliver come Playoff time

Player Z:

-Winning is important to player
-He is somewhat loyal to the team
-Plays better coming of the bench than as a starter
-Improves all around game in the playoffs
-Doesn't like Player Y
-Likes playing against Player X (slight boost in morale and all around game when playing against that player *Remember Jordan vs Wilkins? )

Get the picture?

Also it would be nice if every team had from 0 up to 3 or 4 team rivalries, and of course make them editable, for example:

these are all things i would like but i would also like to see more old school player shot sigs Example:
jump shots, fade aways (Jordan) dunks they did not just do in the 80's but also basic dunks they did in the 90's as they got older
layUps (again Jordan) Scottie Pippen sigs, all around old school shooting styles and packages.
Also i really would like to see these 3 players in the game next to Jordan
Reggie Miller (also with sigs) Charles Barkley, and last but not least put John Stockton in the game
I mean he is for number one the number one all time assist leader and if you are gonna put Karl Malone
the one who left Utah, so Stockton deserves a spot on the Legends

I would like to see more realistic kicks for your team (I dont like that everyone has generic ones)

Timeouts are horrible... get the team sitting down and listen in to a timeout

Adding to that, in my player mode, at least in a timeout it should let you see what the coach says so you can work on your game

I would also like to see a new attribute for players: Ability to draw a foul (I think this would be cool)
