About Association..

I've manage 5 teams in my association(Lakers, Celtics, Suns, Wizards) and one of them is Orlando because i will trade Carter to Suns. When i click on the Orlando roster there are only three options.. which should be six with "Release, Trade and Assign" option.. I've read here in the forum that you must choose two or more teams in Association to manage trades or assign player in different team.. I need some help? I just don't understand

released = to released (waived) your player from your team
assign = to sign/contract player from free agent to your team
trade = to trade player or draft pick or both from your team with player or draft pick or both from another team,but you must remember that NBA has salary caps rule..
