Turn the backboards rims to red

Could someone explain to me how to turn red the backboards rims?
I know I have to use hex editor to do that, opening the sxxx.iff in an hex editor and then change the hex values. I wanted to someone to point me out where I can find the values for the backboards rims and which hex code stands for the red color.
Basicaly I want to use cjs007 backboards and change the rims to red just like AmaroWaade´s (because cjs007´s are orange, the only flaw..)
On a side note want to say that I want to do this only for personnal use because it´s cjs007 work and only want to tweak it a lit bit for my taste if you know what I mean.

hex editing is for the courts. the rims are a texture


open the s###.iff with a iff editor of your choosing and find the orange rim texture. export it, edit it with paint/GIMP/photoshop to make it red, then import it back in.

the nice thing is you can make 1 texture and then you dont need to export it for every stadium. just import your red rim.

Which iff editor do you recommend? I was trying with the NBA 2K9 IFF Editor Beta9 but the problem I can´t identify the orange rim texture because I don´t know if there´s supposed to be like a preview of the texture..
Most of the times just see some strange images or blue screen of the pallete of the editor..

Edit: Nevermind already saw the textures..It was only changing the group..

in the mod tool 2kX it is Part 22 Subfile: DDS:12

in the 2k9 iff editor it is Sequence 23 Group 12

it might change with each stadium, so you just need to know what you are looking for
