For me i like the player moves now it so realistic and so smooth but my disappointment was the hop step stuff if your goin to drive the lane with a dunk the outcome a hop step and a throwdown.. I realy don't like the cpu will decide to your movements..

Dislikes NBA 2k11 PC

1.) Hangtime JUMPS, small guards could barely attempt layups or teardrops and almost 99% of the time gets squashed

2.) AI is too smart on ball interceptions (Call that sim? No its not, its only to please the hardcore fanboys same with #1 problem)

3.) Buttons that on the screen sometimes aint the right buttons to be pressed especially on menus

4.) Dunking / LAYUP with automatic Spin (This feature sucks) especially on fast breaks

5.) No spin (NOT THE PROHOP SPIN) / crossover button for keyboard players

6.) Base graphics of PC inferior to XBOX 360

7.) Online experience Nets (me) vs Hawks (opponent) 1st quarter 12-2 is the score, all my score came from alleyoops my opponents only score came from 2 freethrow shots by Mike Bibby. We were like missing everything at jumpshots even at WIDE OPEN, I didnt even bother to guard Joe Johnson cause he obviously will miss it anyway.

8.) Pro Sim Difficulty Seems too easy compared to last year

Likes

1.) Better shooting/dunk/layup animations

2.) Better Presentations

3.) Rebound tips may lead to basket score

4.) Shooting behind the backboard (DAMN never saw this last year if there was any)

But you do have control over this, I think right stick to the left of the basket is is a rim hang dunk, to the right it's the spin/hop step dunk, the opposite direction is revers/euro step and to the direction of the rim it's signature/basic dunk.

Still it is irritating when on a fast break, less time to think when your knowledge reflex tells ya that the player should be dunking/layup it right away, when cant 2k let the players use prohop spin button instead rather than automatic. It is also quite annoying dunking down low with the after its already an open lane then hop step suddenly while the lane clogged up immediately.

Automatic Hopstep Spin ruining my inside game.

and the HOPSTEP Spin Button should be replaced with regular Spin button instead, if its already almost automatic at will.

everything has been said, so just to add:

dislike:
- my player and jordan challenge are boring
jordan challenge would have been better if it played like the mj:create a legend mode, only with the real rosters from 1984 to his last season.

like:
- player of the game. I play through whole games just to watch it.

I find it even for both teams or maybe I should play defense and forced my opponent to some turnovers since sometimes they only turn the ball over for like 3 times.

It's stale.

It looked good leading to the release, it felt good playing, but the more the little bugs raised their heads the less fun it became to play.

- No trades in association after year 2, no FA signings
- Teams all drafting the same guy
- Weird rotations
- Players becoming disgruntled for lack of playing time while injured

With all this going on the real associations would have to wait until after a patch. Play the Jordan Challenge until then, but game play has bugs too.

- Try beating the Lakers by going hard inside, get their bigs in foul trouble. Nope, guys don't leave the game after 6 fouls.
- 91 Finals recreating Lakers vs Bulls, sounds fun. But sometimes the game starts and it's Celtics vs Bulls in Boston - huh?
- In many of the challenge games there are no substitutions by the CPU.
- No way to change sliders in Jordan Challenge games. So the general sliders can be used (i.e. sim vs default etc.) but they can't be tweaked. So much for using Sim Superstar with 3 pointers tweaked up a little.
- Teams run the same few plays over and over. Czar's talk of options isn't applicable to CPU teams because they don't use their options, or run different plays off the same set.
- Human players can only call plays when the man they control has the ball. That means no play calling for anyone who plays locked unless they control the PG or force the pass to their man to begin the offensive set.
- Teams often blindly pass to the guy for whom the play is called, whether or not the pass is open - another steal.
- Full court passes - argh!

These and many other issues plague general game play in all modes that it just isn't fun playing games. Touches being set player by player rather than like rotation on a team, and unbalanced on many teams so some high scorers (like D. Rose) never score is also a fun killing issue. Tweaking touches makes it better, until there are trades.

The "best sports game of the year" is now collecting dust after only two weeks.

The good news is this is all pre-patch, and many of the issues appear easily fixable in a patch. Post patch this may become the best sports game of the year. But right now, it isn't.
