Retro rosters???

Ok, so as a young adult, I missed most of the past NBA seasons, starting with the early 2000s to the sixties. I have tried to remedy my knowledge by downloading retro rosters such as an early 2000s roster.
Since I have found an early 2000s roster, I know have a greater understanding of the period. My question is, where could I get more retro rosters for teams like the 80s Lakers and Celtics, the Davis Robinson Spurs, and Hakeem's rockets. Even if I found their CFs, I would need their teams because I don't really know every player's skills and weaknesses:)
Please give me a link to such a downloadable roster... Thanks!:)

2K12 and 2K14 have the amazing Ultimate Base Roster mod that has full season rosters going back to 1970 iirc. If you want 2K14, it is on sale right now on Amazon for $10 - http://www.amazon.com/NBA-2K14-Online-G ... 00D93B5VI/
as for 2K11, you are at the mercy of what has not been deleted on random servers due to inactivity, or what is in our database (which does have 97 and 92 rosters) downloads.php?cat=15
