Running 2k11

what is lacking on my system if I can run 2k10 or 2k11 on my pc but super slow in gameplay? Is need the memory or a video card?

pentium dual core 2.5GHz and 1GB ram and doesn't have video card so I think it needs a high-end video card

How about running the game with out the CD, I need to insert the CD evrytime I played, My PC is getting slow lately.
