Need some graphic card advice

Postby seanbarkley on Thu Feb 03, 2011 8:07 am

Hey guys, I've discovered this place a couple of weeks ago and I'm just amazed!!so amazed that I'm now saving for a new graphic card to play the game in my pc... :D
Would you mind to let me know what graphic cards do u have and what is your experience with them??do you consider that the game looks (and runs) better in your pc that in xbox or PS3??thanx for your time, any help would be appreciated! (by the way, I have an I3 processor).

What's budget for new card?
What PSU You have?

I have HD4850 and I play at maximum settings @ Full HD. So I guess You don't need to buy high-end graphics card to play NBA 2K11.
But if You want to play newest games at high settings You probably need new CPU (and maybe even motherboard) too.

I have a 512mb 8800GT, and run full settings at 50fps 720p on my TV.
Opinions are my own.

1. Around 130€ (around $180)
2. 600W (if PSU means Power Supply Unit, lol! I'm not sure...)+ Intel I3 3.06 processor.

I just want my PC to play 2K11 and graphic adventures since I already have a PS3 for the rest of the games, but I'm amazed with the amount of possibilities that modding give to this game... simply incredible! I was thinking about this one:1GB POINTOFVIEW GTS250 (link: http://www.pointofview-online.com/showr ... uct_id=152). Do you (or somebody) know that this would be enough to have a good experience with the game??Thx 4 your answer.

GTS250 is pretty much same as HD4850, so I think You'll be able to play NBA 2k11 max settings.
