Looking pretty impressive, graphics definitely won't be a problem this year on next gen

less yellow eyes would be nice
edit: wait, they both look like cgi, one of them is supposed to be a photo? bs

the one on the right is the actual photo, it does look a bit touched up though

nah I re-read the article, they're both cgi. I don't get why they put 2 of them side by side though. The one on the right looks better fwiw

One is an actual photo, the other is the render, they use the picture to map out the face and then add details after!! When I went to the studio last year, they were doing Josh Smith and James Harden, they looked like this render side by side, but this next gen version is much more detailed. I have no doubt that Live in next gen (overall) will look like an actual broadcast, let us pray that the game play is fluid!! Could be one of the most realistic looking games to ever come out. Live 09 was close, I still play it just because it looks beautiful lol

They're both 3D, you can clearly see the vertices on both side by side renders. Take a look at the 3d example below:

And now take a look at the kyrie images:

You can see the same effect on both.
They weren't claiming either one as an actual photo anyway...

Edited the title so it isn't misleading. Looks like they finally hit "modder quality" with their cyberfaces.

Well it seems the case for the coverboy anyway. They tend to come out better than most however so the overall quality remains to be seen.

I know they're both 3D, they used the photo on the 3D model so they can show it from the two angles!!

They clarified in the article saying the one on the left was an early scan and the one on the right is a updated version. Looks epic, hope a lot of the players look as good as kyrie does.

I can use this to make him on 2k13.

It's clear that left one is from PS4 and right one is from Xbox One
