this game would be good if you can push a button to complain to the reffs and get flagrant fouls i would love it do you think so?

You don't need to add a separate thread for each idea. As for flagrant fouls, it would be nice to see them being implemented when a player gets hit and ends up falling wildly while in the air, but they won't add forced technicals players complaining or anything; they're not allowed by the league to do so.

lol i didnt even know i didn't have to im new to this lol. Really why arent they thats not even cool i would like to see people get the 16techs during dynasty mode and geet suspended for a game

It's understandable that the league doesn't want to promote or glorify certain aspects of the game or the fact that certain players are, shall we say, more prone to behaviour that the league doesn't approve of. That said, it's a shame they can't be implemented in some way, particularly flagrant fouls which aren't necessarily (or openly) malicious.

Well Andrew, unless the perpetrator is a Ron Arte - Metta World Peace. I would like for them to include just about everything there is in an actual game, could you imagine a playoff atmosphere so intense that your player gets into a little brawl with another player - who he's been trading talk with? Well, I doubt anything like that would happen, having been given what was stated above. I'm unsure, I've seen some kind of interaction between two individuals in the some of the NHL games I think. Though I doubt such a feature would be implemented since most fights in the NBA are broken up rather quickly by teammates and officials, not enough time to get in a sufficient amount of blows to your opponent.

Different leagues, different philosophies. Fights are in the NHL series because it's basically a part of the sport's culture. Full on brawls are rare in the NBA and the league certainly doesn't want to glamourise them, so it's unlikely we'll ever see them in a sim oriented title. Fully fledged arcade titles like NBA Jam and NBA Street are a different matter of course, seeing as how you can actually steal the ball by shoving opponents to the ground, but they are a big enough break from reality in general that the league isn't worried about them appearing to portray what really goes on.

i would like to see techs for pushing players or hard fouls i would love that NBA is to soft in there games it never feels real because players dont have human emotions in it
Tue Mar 19, 2013 10:06 am
I think they do show emotion in their games, albeit not a whole lot though. I've seen instances when my player or another would drive in and be heckled, they miss and would hit the floor with a hand or something like that out of frustration. Facial expressions aren't too bad either.

Bottom line, if the league won't allow it, it's not going to be in the game.

Yea but i a lil pushing should happen they better make it happen one day or in the near future games wont be bought if the emotion less gameplay continues on

Unless the league changes their mind, there's nothing the developers can do. It's the NBA's license, they dictate terms and conditions.

It's been brought up many times throughout the years. It's something the NBA isn't about to budge on. After all, this is a league that fines its players and coaches $25,000 for grumbling about the officials after terrible calls.

as a girl I just Love the idea that people would get angry i mean when me and my bf plays the game we get angry so why cant the game and that would be a cool add on if it would ever happen but it wont but if it did to have the fines and everything on there

The NBA doesn't want it in the game, so EA can't put it in the game.
