*NBA Historical Teams* v2 coming...

Historical Teams is a roster mod that contains teams consisting of mixed players from 50s up to the present, assigned to where they're most popular at.

This roster is mainly for fun. Gears and shoes have been modified to fit for each players original style. Ratings, tendencies and rotation have been modified too. So if you wanna see Jordan and DRose together... or witness the true magic of Orlando with O'Neal, TMac, DH12, and Penny Hardaway together... or you might want to be shocked by the big man combo of Yao Ming and Olajuwon...


Whew! At last I managed to compile everything and able to release. I hope you enjoy this mod. Please leave a comment or suggestion regarding your experience with this mod. HAVE FUN!!!



NBA Historical v1.5 Update!!! (July 3, 2010)

In this version, I made a lot of fixes. The details are listed below:
- Associationable (age issues are fixed and legends will not retire at the end of one season)
- New Slider
- Some players moved to other team (Balancing Issue)
- Fixed player's ratings (player's true rating on their prime)
- Edited player's positions (better first five and bench lineup)
- Rotations (better distribution of minutes)
- Signature Moves
- Use Mr. Excitement's latest portraits
- Use Xiaojs playoffs version shoes
- Added a lot of new players and CFs: (credits to Ilyas and FN11)

FN11, Yes Damon Stoudamire is included bro. He's assigned to Portland.. By the way, who is Harrington are you referring? Al or Othella? For Othella, I borrowed it from JAM_LEIK's roster. It could be yours bro.. Of course you're welcome to help. You can make a suggestion.. or maybe i'll release a beta version of this and see what is needed to be fixed..

I'd prefer actual historical teams, like golden state'92, new york'94, phoenix'93. because that all-time team concept fails to reflect the real all-timers, as the most roster spaces are filled with today's mediocre players, while past stars are forgotten. for example, i could name at least 20 wizards (and former bullets) guards who deserve more to be on the team than steve blake. and that could be said about 60-80 percent of the players from any team. except for lakers and boston, i guess.

Tbh I like it the way he is going but that is my opinion because it's always fun seeing how eg D-Rose and MJ would play together and a Shaq and Dwight Combo. Maybe we should let him finish this one and if he feels up to it then he can make your idea.

Erchamion, I'm still waiting for JAM_LEIK's Sabonis and other retro CFs to be released and get a permission to use it. If so, then there's no reason why I wont include them.

UltraNIX, you got a point.. but having the golden state'92, new york'94, phoenix'93 here, doesn't make sense to "mixed" teams. My goal here is to make a mod which includes today and yesterday's players. Actually, it doesnt mean they have to be superstars like MJ, Russell, or LBJ. Its fun to see players that gave life or excitement to teams. For example, Nate robinson, who became the 3-time slam dunk champ (even though he barely dunks in game), eddie house, which makes everyone standup from their sits (especially on playoff games) when he made a shot from beyond the arc and shouts at his opponents... carl landry, brooks, and rondo, which improved so much especially this season.. the rookies that has a lot of potential to be a star (we dont know, maybe nxt season Tyreke will be the nxt Brandon Roy).. and of course some other players that im sure made a name in the NBA... To be honest, i would love to include every hall of famer, superstars in the history of NBA. But I think that would be hard as hell. Creating cyberfaces for each of them? I dont work for 2k man to create those... One more thing, i dont wanna see a created cf in this mod... No hard feelings man. To be honest, I appreciate that you share your ideas here. Thanks ... Oh! btw, can I use those portraits of yours? they're all good bro. good job
