Tell me for example which player has white arms and all that,you go to to reditor find the player and check his port cf id then go to the nba 2k10 folder and try to find the file for example if players port cf id is 1300 and genericf is 0 that means in the 2k10 folder you gotta find the file called png1300.iff .If there is no such a file then that's why it has white arms and all that.

I actually managed to fix it adding some files I had forgottern
However, using the NBA96v roster file, I get all the correct CF's but the game crashes if I do a fantasy draft, which is the mode me and my friend always play.
Using the 96 version 2.ros, I don't still get white arms and some CF's that are just plain wrong, but it doesn't crash after the draft.

Which roster file is the most up-to-date which people are using?

I have no idea how the draft crashes,can you try simulating the whole season of association mode two times? One with choosing auto generate rookies and another with create/edit draft class.When the playoffs finish you will have off season tasks and check out if they are not crashing because some ppl had problems with that,I mean when they go to the draft night the game crashes.About fantasy draft hmm I never tried that so I don't know.

The little roster mode update v2:

More cyberfaces,some vintage logos that were missing and some fixed players( by meaning fixed are those that were announced in the game with todays star's names,I replaced those vintage players with less known todays players and at least I didn't hear todays star's names no more)

Big thanks to Ilyas,aloncho,MGX for cyberfaces,they all look amazing and it's nice to have as many cyberfaces in the game as possible.Thanks a lot

There is the portrait.cdf and portrait.iff and you know these files had some problems,well I uploaded to the working site sendspace but those who are gonna try this update please make the back up files of those two,because I don't know how the last time portrait files from megaupload didn't work.

And I'm probably gonna stop here with this mode,not much time for modding plus I did what I can,don't know what else here to do with this mode,if some players missing here ask me, if there are some problems still here maybe someone else will help or fix.

it's all the ones ily's did from his thread. im not sure about the portraits.

def, seems some of the face's still aint taking even though, i tryed changing them, in tyhe editor, mugsy bogues, christian lattner, when i get back ill try again, but everything else is solid.

i got them after replacing there cf id's.

And Guys, I made a TURK Script for those using Michael Jordan Leg Gear in their global.iff.
We all know that all with same skin tone of Michael Jordan will also have his Leg Gear. So, i made a TURK Script enable only him will used that gear, It will replace skin tone of all players with "0" to 1 except Michael Jordan, he will remain to "0".

Put it in your C:\Program Files\REDitor\Scripts
Then, Open REDitor, Open your Roster and click the TURK menu and select MJ_LegGear.
If executed, Save your roster and check in game.

Besides, why a 98-99 patch? We already have 92-93, 95-96, 2000-2001 and 2002-2003 patches.

Alot of work goes into a patch and since there are several patches that surround 98-99 it just seems a bit unecessary.

I know it was the lockout season but that's doesn't really matter.
If someone's up to it it would be nice, but I don't see why when you have a similar season in the 2000-2001 patch.
It's not an easy thing to just whip out a whole roster patch. Even if the season was only 52 games, it's not easier to make a patch for the lockout season than a normal season. Same amount of teams and players.
