Preview of what will be included in the next update:

- Landry Fields added to the Knicks
- JWill on Magic and couple more transaction updates
- compatible with Mr.Excitement's V6 portraits

many tendencies tweaked, as well as coach profiles and secondary positions:

Lakers: Artest 2nd pos SG instead of PF. Now Phil puts in Odom as replacement for Bynum instead of... Steve Blake putting Artest at PF.

Wizards: John Wall attacks the basket more and his jersey number is fixed.
coach profile: less fast breaking, less Josh Howard fast break dunks. Their pace is up, John Wall pushing the ball more.
Team tendency for attacking the basket and oops is up.

Raptors:
Amir and Ed Davis 2nd pos C so they can play together and David Andersen won't eat up Davis' minutes any more.
DeRozan iso's & attacks the basket more and gets fouled more often. Hot spots for Bargnani and DeRozan and Jack updated to how they play in real life.

Heat: Chris Bosh hot spots updated, taking his game to the high post more than the low post. + more step back jumpers.

Magic: threepoint shooters tendencies updated. JJ Redick will be running off screens more and the rest spotting up at their favorite positions from real life. Secondary position for Gortat and Rashard removed, so JVG doesn't go twin towers any more in the first quarter. Now at all time they keep four three point shooters on the floor. (Of course if you play with Magic and you go up against size you can change this any time).

Same for some of the Suns. Channing Frye, who already took about 300 threes in simmed seasons, didn't do it in the game. Now he does. The first time after I changed his hot spots he popped two threes in a the first quarter from either side of the arc, one hit and one contested clanking off the rim. Before, he just showed up under the basket or maybe took a midranger if he was open.

Bobcats coach profile: less help defense (back to 50). They gave up too many open shots because the players were all over the place. I played the Wiz with them and they scored 40 in a quarter on me, while I kept them to 25 easily with other teams without playing really hard even. After I changed it they played much better defense, less open threes and such.


Other issues I've discovered but haven't fixed yet or not entirely..:

The amount of fouling.

Curry shooting too much. (15 attempts per quarter or so lol. It was literally hand down man down lol, with Jazz.. then I tried after tweaking with the Lakers and he still had 15 attempts in the first. But Ellis sat with 2 fouls so that may have had an effect.) David Lee doesn't shoot enough yet. Both will be looked at more.

More point guards lack of penetration, and when they do, they pass out too often. Darren Collison doesn't even try.. things like that, I will change.

I think maybe tomorrow I'll release a new version but it will still not be final (raw).

What I would like is for people to play a game or a few and see how it plays, especially the opponent. Do they play like their real life counterpart. The players as well as the team style of play. My aim is get it all more realistic. I haven't tested against all teams though and that will take a long time. Also some of you know some teams better than me. So especially try a game against your favorite team and check out their tendencies. And report if you think of improvement. That would be great.

Is important to know as kova rosters, wich are great, crash when you use Memphis(trust me i try everything the last two months), if is all yours, and we just has to use kova files, maybe it works fine and i can use it.

I can't promise anything. They're not my files so I can't just re-release them. Most things you need are in one place anyway just not this one..

Yes, Kova as base.

I just ran a quick test, Association simmed first season to see where it crashes. Controlled a second team to use as alternative to get past the crash date. I thought it was March but when I slowed down in March and went to the Grizzlies calendar to 'make it crash' it didn't. When is the crash date? It was March right?

Can you also create Samardo Samuels (Cavs), Sherron Collins (Bobcats), Matt Janning (Suns) and Marqus Blakely (LAC)

thanks for the pm.. but if you would have answered my first question how to get Landry Fields in the game you wouldn't be sitting sipping your coffee maybe.. I'm still struggling to get the new rookies to show up on the rosters... what am I missing?

Did you create players in the game? If so then you should just modify them in the create player screen, and maybe in REDitor. I mean that's what I always do.

Yes it's 6th of march, but there is no solution, if you simulate without playing you can change the team and pass it if it crash, sometimes it dont crash at all, or maybe if you only play till late january and then simulates after that date, but if you play full asociation(all the games), when it comes 6th of march there is no solution at all, as i say i test every posible solution and there is no solution at least as a player, as a roster editor if you know what's wrong i guess it can be fixed.
Keep your good work, i'll wait to use custom rosters till nba2k11. It's sad for me as i cant enjoy your work, at least now im playing with my bro asociations with default nba2k10 rosters without crashes, good enough till 5th of october hehe.

Just did another test sim and it didn't crash. Anyway, you could enjoy it in quick matches, or in a Association mode that I like personally, is sim whole seasons and play the postseasons, that way you can through some seasons sometimes. Anyway, if you do some quick matches against the Grizzlies and could tell me if you like how they play or if it's wack would be much appreciated.

Whenever I changed rotations it was in the nba2k game itself.

When I tried to assign Landry Fields to FA I changed it in his ID and in the free agents tab. both didn't work.

But now I just copy-pasted all my data from the 414 first player Holiday through Arenas to Kova 2011 and it seems to work

Channing Frye's tendencies survived! All the players have the ratings of my edits, and Landry Fields is on the Knicks.

So now I have to re-do some of the other players the same things, copy paste, and re-do the rotations and coach profiles that I changed and then it should be ready. Check back in an hour or two because I have to eat also in half an hour.
