Could you tell me the exact file?if that file doesn`t work you can import all the textures from it to another file

There's something buggy with it, I edited Miami's positions, and the back number got larger that it looks crap. Also I wasnt able to import new number textures :/

If the number is larger maybe the unique solution is reduce number in texture, and why can´t you import the texture?has you indexed the texture to 256 colors and if it has white put it as (253,253,253).

The program change the original scale and set the scale as the lakers jerseys because we can´t decode the complex formula to scale that 2k uses in the files. If the number looks larger maybe you only can reduce it in the texture, but the new number must be in the same place than the original

Re: jersey editor 1.0 released

Right, forgot about 256 color bit, thanks :)

The problem with the number size is that if you change them to smaller size, they will be too far away from each other. Thanks anyway for the idea ;)

One thing that I noticed is wrong, that the example of Y-X scale (the jersey picture) is wrong, switch places between X and Y letters on the picture to make it right.
Also it would be nice if we could check how the numbers were placed in the software, like a 3d image for testing, so we don't have to do it in game.

Also my other suggestion is, if possible, make it that when you edit, for example, position of front numbers, you wouldn't have to adjust the other positions so they could stay the same as original.

it can´t be done i can't make a 3d or 2d view of how the result will be in game because the function i use to calculate the position in game is an aproximate function to the original because the original is so complex that we can´t decode it, i made this tool with trackbars because of that beacuse its imposible for the moment calculate the exact position so with trackbars you can move and test, in the picture you are right i don´t know how could i put the axis in that way, tomorrow i will upload the program with the right picture.

This night i will upload 1.1 version, the only feature new is that you don´t need to index the fonts and numbers textures, the only thing you will need is save them as png with transparency

Re: jersey editor 1.0 released

Fri Dec 18, 2009 3:36 am

like for instance i just changed color on magic thrwback jersey numbers and saved them as a png file and draged my new png file which is blue numbers over the old png file which wqas white and i see no change. i created a new layer and merged it down just like you do u sing the portrait editor. also the transparency box i dont understand what to do with it as it never gives me an option to check it. i think im totally off track using this tool but just need a little guidance. but i am trying unlike others who just want knowledge for freee without attempting to help self :D thats what seperates the great patchers from the complainers :D

Do you see the new texture in my tool?did you drag your file over the first texture numbers or over the second?the jerseys use the first group of numbers

Re: jersey editor 1.0 released

Fri Dec 18, 2009 4:03 am

i do see to sets of numbers so your saying drag my numbers over the second set instead of the first. i tried both sets. texture 3 and 8 are the number textures i see and when i drag and drop my png to either one it gives me the error message
