CAP textures and models are all in global.iff. All the hair models and stuff are in in the same file as the base head, which makes it easier to edit if you want to go that route. Same thing with arms and legs and the 3D accessories, if you want to change them, too.

This may not be part of the testing you wanted in the Readme but the commentators don't mention the names of the players, only their numbers (like created/generated ones). It happens during when the ball is in play but when it's not in play (foul, start of each quarter) the commentators mention the names of the players again.

Yea that happens with the NLSC roster as well, where they will call us by our number then during half time or at the end of the game we'll get called NBA player names. Something got messed up, and I am lookin into it. Thanks though

George7, go for it, skin tone can be done through reditor or make your guy a CAP player and edit it in game.

^^^^^^Jao, I think both of these beta mods are great ideas. Eventhough, I'm not really playing 2k as of much these days, the blacktop mode is a great mod however myself I prefer me being able to pick my court instead of 2k doing it for me. Then, the roster thing is also brillant as I wish you would have thought of that before, that mod/roster might could have been even better with everyone's input. But as I said before, it looks like I'm going to have to retire from NBA 2k10 "a bit" early this year do to many things going on with my schedule but both of these are cool and seriously gets my approval!
