Staples Center- Lakers version released

Thanks, I think I'll just do Staples Center for npw, and maybe some coach face models for phil and mike d. It's just annoying having to dual boot for iff editor. I 'll start the lakers one tomorrow, with low version also. It should be done soon since it's pretty much the same.

Sorry for lack of updates, was busy this weekend. I want to get this thing done by the end of the week. Hopefully everything goes well.

Lakers version started, updated arena ads, some textures from other " Loser" version, Tried to put 50th anniversary logo unerneath jumbotron but the uv mapping makes half of it cut off, can't perfect until a uv editor/modeller is released. Testing out some new courts but still needs more work, retextured the lakers logo underneath basket and darkended/replaced half court logo.

To do: tweak more colors, recolor pole, add AAA ad, Penchanga Ad, Sideline lakers.com logo, recolor ad rotator and new ads. They took down the 50th anniversary logos, but I might keep that under the jumbo since the sports chalet one is impossible to realistically recreate. And do the Low version.

Looking great man, that clippers arena update you did was awesome. The detail was fabuous, anxiously awaiting lakers version, and it is looking great as well. Thanks so much, is there any way you could do a TD Garden floor and arena update for the celtics, love your work, adds real authenticity to the game.

I dunno what I'll do after this, maybe nothing lol. All these arenas look boring and unoriginal. I figured out how to run vware to get iff editor to work in 7.

btw, i have some questions:

- is it impossible to put the 50th anniversary logo in the floor texture?
- For low detailed lakers court, can you turn the lights off at where the crowds are seating like the real Staples Center's Lights Out.

you should use less purple on the paint area and center court logo. The original 2k10 Center Court logo color was actually correct by 2k, they just screwed up by making the paint darker. you did the opposite by making the center court logo darker, when it was already good lighter.

if you look closely, they have a sky blue-ish hue in the paint and center court purples..

I got the colors from the actual vector logo. The wood floor definitely needs more work and lightened


This was from this year. This picture is slightly underexposed though, most tv shots are grossly overexposed.


WIP: finished the ad rotator ads, redid all the court logos, including new lakers.com sideline logo and baseline lakers text, also redid the NBA logo and put the red outline around. Still haven't figured out how to change the half court line to purple or any paint colors. , if anyone knows, please let me know. I'm going to completely redo the wood courts.

So far Iv'e opened the stadium files but the floor files are somewhere else. This means I can accurately put the jumbotron ad for Sports Chalet. Also I can edit the mapping for the basketball pole and make them picture perfect with the correct colors. I really excited about this tool!

What msg logo? In staples? I dunno if you can add parts yet. It'll probably be adding parts by subtracting unneeded parts first.
