How to change teams default color?

Postby Mojazz on Sun Apr 11, 2010 3:28 pm

I just wonder if its possible to change default team color. For example, Dallas and Denver should have a default white color accessories on there home but 2k made it blue. Is it possible to change it to white?

TIA

Based on my knowledge of the roster file format, I consider colors to be linked with jerseys, not with teams, and jerseys are linked with teams.

So, it's impossible for now. I'll work on it for REDitor 0.8

2k insider stated that the team colors come from the roster file so it can be "patched" with roster updates

i remember there being a roster that got released (official roster) that changed the cavs headband colors on the 360, so that would confirm a roster controlled area.
Opinions are my own.

I doubt it that headband colors are changed by editing the rosters: Once I got my patch, my headband colors changed. I went on my association (which was started with an old roster where Heat's headbands were all red) and the headbands were changed from red to black. When you install the patch there are 2 new files- the exe and some .iff file

The headband colors must be coded in that .iff file or the exe, but I'm pretty sure it's the exe.

I mean not jersey textures, but jersey records inside roster files (like players, teams, staff, etc.).
And colors are stored inside jersey records. that's for sure ;)
