Any updates on the custom music editor?

Has anyone found anything out about how to change the music in the PC version? I've asked this before and I know someone was looking into it, just wanted to check the progresss.

I though they changed the way music works pretty drastically? I might look into that during this weekend.

This is, after the 95-96 patch, the editor I'm looking forward to the most!
